Small sample size, but I played another game last night and had no movement from the DL guys.

The last game I played, they moved down a day. This time, no movement. Really strange.

The only things I did different:

Last time I looked at the Team Health before the game, and then afterwards to make sure it worked. It did. This time I did not view the DL before the game.

Last time I played my MLB game, and then simmed to date. This is when the players moved down a day.

This time I made a roster move (Calling up Endy Chavez from AAA Round Rock and sending down Monty May). I played my AA game first, and then my MLB game. Simmed to date, and nothing.

That's really strange. Why would it work one day and then not the next day? I'll see what happens after tonight's game and report back.

The sending the hurt player to the minors trick works.

Just call up a minor leaguer so you are over the 25 man limit, when it prompts you to move someone down you are able to move down the player on the DL. You'll obviously still be over the 25 man limit, so just move the player back down.

Worked like a charm. No big deal to have to do this.

Well, played another game with no luck. Nelson Cruz & Elvis both remained at 18 games and 12 games left on the DL respectively.

I set up the workaround and lo-and-behold, the DL time caught up and it appears to be working.

Thank you to whomever figured that out. Hopefully some sort of fix is implemented before the minors season ends for me (which is months away, I'm in the 2nd week of May).

So yeah, chalk me up as another victim of the bug, but another person who can confirm that the workaround works.

So you send down your injured player, call him back up when his injury is healed...does the generic looking face bug apply to him now? You know, the bug that occurs (or at least used to occur) when you call up a player from the minors and his face is the generic looking one, not his personal face.

My experience is no.

I sent Andres Torres down to the minors while he was on the DL. When he was healed, I called him back up, and he has his regular picture there.

I also say no. When Starlin Castro healed I brought him up and it was normal.

I know this is unrelated to the bug but I know all you guys are playing franchise mode...do you guys have generic faces on some players, and how do you make it so that doesn't happen?

I'm also wondering what the latest was on this bug. has there been a fix for anyone yet? Any temporary solutions to this bug, or how to permanently get rid of it. thanks!

EDIT: I mean when a minor leaguer is called up to the big leagues or a major leaguer coming off a rehab stint
