Lol, yeah and it also has to take at least 2hrs. to play a game or it's not realistic.

2.5 hours if you're playing Yankees vs Red Sox.

Funny, I don't mind hour-long games with soccer, I play 25 minute halves. But I start to fall asleep after 20-25 minutes of playing a baseball game... sort of like when watching the real thing!

Nice cheap shot, but why spend $400 to not have fun

Either way I'll probably get it and end up spending close to $400 so I have the pleasure of playing it on a 5inch screen in my bed.

Maybe it's just to avoid what his wife would prefer him to be doing while in bed...

Vita + game + taxes + cheesies and soda pop = getting up in that range.

Precisely. I was talking about the Vita and both copies of the show. Anyways, I cancelled my orders :-)

I've decided like Call of Duty I'm just not good enough to play the Show.

Keep The Show OUT of this thread, or it will be CLOSED.

Anyway...yes the PC version is the best I've played. Especially with the different mods on MVP-mods and the modification of the graphics from Enb-series.

I just love this baseball game. It deserves a lot more credit than it gets.

PC version with all 2K games is the way to go. You have the added benefit of PC power (AA, AF, shaders, etc.) as well as...wait for it...MODS! It runs the same gameplay engine as console, so that's why I'm hoping for great improvements to 2k12. I'll take care of the visuals myself :-P

I don't know anything about AA, AF, etc. What settings do you use? I am running around 100fps so I know I have room to increase some options. Which do you recommend, currently everything for those is off.

Crank them as high as you can, as long as you can still maintain a least 60fps.

Well AA is Anti-Aliasing. This reduced jaggies and makes the game look smoother. If you compare a console version vs a PC you see a huge difference in smoothness.

Basically just crank your graphics settings to the highest. The best part of 2K games is that they're not very demanding graphically. So anyone with a low-mid range computer can run it as high as possible. I also use my Nvidia control panel to get better filtering (such as AF filtering).

Lastly, you can get third party shaders and apply it to the game (like those released for skyrim as FXAA shaders). These work wonders in sharpening the game and really bringing out the color.

Yeah, I find the color a bit lacking. Which one do you use?

I can't recall which one I'm using but they're all pretty much the same. You can always customize it too by editing the .txt document it comes with.
