I've gotten the message telling me that I can select it, but I've checked all the menus and cannot find where to select the goal. I read somewhere that after receiving the message you will be prompted to select it but I'm getting nothing. I've gotten the message multiple times now, before the start of the season, and after each game following that but none have prompted me to select anything. I'm 3 games into the season is it too late? or do you select the goal after some game have been played?
I signed up just to reply to this as it has happened to me three different times now, also have experienced the mail that has nothing in the body it's just blank. The latter isn't annoying but no goals is a huge let down.

I've had Michael Bourne dive for one but he caught it on the hop (not in the air) and it was a single. I also dived and missed the ball completely and it resulted in a 3 run inside the park homerun

In 2k11 the polo grounds was a classic stadium that was in the game. I haven't bought the game yet but is there a classic stadium in the game? which one if there is? Last year it was one past Yankee Stadium and before the minor league stadiums.

Anyone know? I know how to send down and if your AAA roster is full it will ask you who to call up, but if not you're stuck with fewer than 25 players on your minor league roster.

How do you upload a picture on here from the game? Specifically Id like to get a pic of the team stats screen after a game is completed. I'm not familiar with 2k share and have never used it before.

              I'd appreciate the help

im not a baseball fan at all but im interested in buying this game. i have two questions

                1) how high is the learning curve? nba 2k12 is super deep and i can see how people that arent into basketball would have a frustrating time playing that game. will i experience that with mlb since i dont know tons about baseball?

                2) would it may be worth it to me just to get 2k11 instead? like i said, im not a big baseball fan so rosters and such arent that big of a deal to me.

                  1) The more you know about baseball, the more you'll enjoy this game. The game will take some getting used to at first if you haven't played an MLB 2k game before. I only played a little of last year's game before buying 2k12 and it took me some time to really get the timing of hitting down and how to pitch well.

                  2) Buying 2k11 may be better for you. You can get it for cheaper than 2k12 and if you don't enjoy the game, you won't spend as much money on it.

hi guys, i recently started playing baseball, actually MLB 2K12, i play on rookie (don't laugh at me ), at all-star i suck pretty well, but it seems to me that i got too much hits from both side, average 20 combined, and it bother me a little. what should i do with sliders to make game more real?
                        thx!

I have a ? that I have been dying to get answered since I can't find a answer for it anywhere else on the Internet so far, in Franchise Mode when choosing a Manager for your MLB an Minor League teams (AAA,AA,A) is there truly a difference between Managers with High Motivation an Low Teaching or Vice Versa? an also does amount of years of experience in MLB/Minor League Matter at all? Also do you guys have any Farming System Tips? I would amazingly appreciate your answers!!

I'm thinking about buying 2k12 for PC or xbox. The last baseball game I owned was MVP 2005. The thing I liked about that game is in franchise mode, you could simulate/manage games. You could simulate/manage each at bat but if you wanted to jump in on a particular at bat, you could stop the simulation and go into the game. Once the at bat is finished, you could go back into sim/manager mode. Is that possible on 2k12?

Is there any option to choose different hitting options?

Are you able to create your own players up?

                              Is there a GM/Career Mode?

Are you able to turn the salary cap on and off?

there is an option to "super sim" a game that allows you to jump into the game at a particular moment.but i don't think you can go back to simming after that.at least i haven't found the option yet. That's in the PC game but i supose you can find it on any platform
