I have a question about Total Control Hitting. Do you have to pull the stick down at a certain point to mimic a real hitter's step and swing, or is the system a little looser so you can just pull the stick back at any point before the swing?

Has anyone seen a tumble animation? I know in 2k11 if the fielder reached out too far for a ball he would tumble. Have not seen it happen yet in 2k12.

Is there a hitting tutorial for a complete noob ?While my pitching is okay , i just cannot hit .

Maybe change to classic hitting? I was using total-control and was having some difficulty timing my swings. I switched to classic and after I got use to it found I was hitting more realistically. Also, if you have not tried it maybe bat from the pitchers view. Made it easier for me also - good luck.

Its actually a hidden menu - My Controller->Control Setup->Press left stick to toggle options menu. This allows one to set total control/classic pitching & hitting. The camera options are under the options menu.

Awesome, thanks, I really appreciate that. The other game has Gillick's but it's not correct anyway. It would nice to have both, but at least Alomar's is there.

I was wondering if they got rid of that annoying bug where you would get under the ball and your guy just wouldn't catch it.
It lost me more than one game in MLB 2k11, and i love the improvements they made, but couldn't justify spending money on the game if that killer bug was still in there.

how come in franchise mode i cant view box score for previous games after i turn the game off and back on again? its annoying when trying to keep a blog. Thanks
