Hey, I just got MLB 2k12 but I've been playing the series for a while, however when it comes to your level of play I am a newb with tons of questions. I think it's awesome that you guys take the time to make this game as realistic as possible, and can't tell you how much I appreciate the work you put in. I am a little cofused as far as your roster updates.

1. First, how do we use them, are they just downloads that we install, and how does that affect the updates that 2kSports releases?
2. Can you only use one or the other or should I update from 2k and use your updates?

can somebody explain how to create a custom playlist ?

the soundtracks i find it awful

you can't at least on the ps3, tho you can delete the tracks from the playlist so you can peruse the menus in silence.

This is one of the most disappointing things I can imagine. What's the point of even allowing us to make a created team?

How is the my player mode? Can you use alternate jerseys? I don't care if you can't choose them yourself, if the game does it randomly that's cool. But every once in a while a different jersey would be nice to look at instead I the same thing for 160+ games.

I can't speak for any other teams but the Orioles unfortunately, only wear their home whites and away grays. Its a shame as they have a set schedule (Black jerseys at home on Fridays (the game even has an away version of the black uniform so you could even wear those for road away games), Orange Jerseys at home on Saturdays, and the regular home and aways for games played Sunday-Thursday). You also wear the standard uniforms in spring training (as opposed to the BP/ST uniforms that teams sport for most of their spring training games), there's a lot left to be desired for the uni-watchers and I'm sure it wears on the other gamers after awhile as well. I'd even take a random wardrobe like you suggested, where from time to time the game gives you an alternate.

How do you select your season goal in My Player?

I've gotten the message telling me that I can select it, but I've checked all the menus and cannot find where to select the goal. I read somewhere that after receiving the message you will be prompted to select it but I'm getting nothing. I've gotten the message multiple times now, before the start of the season, and after each game following that but none have prompted me to select anything. I'm 3 games into the season is it too late? or do you select the goal after some game have been played?

I am playing 52 and will multiply stats by 3 at end of season to get close to 162.

Should have been at least 54, 108 and 162 (1/3 a regular season, 2/3 a regular season, and a full season).

Just wondering how batter's eye works... I used it it 2k10 I think, didn't touch it in 2k11, but thinking of using it in 2k12...

I'm on PC, with a logitech controller, do I just move the circle to where I think the pitch is coming? Do I still have to lock it in or something?

Hey guys, I got an injury in my dynasty to Escobar and he was sent down for rehab stint but AAA was done their season, and now its my playoffs, and I cant call up Escobar. This is a bug, and would anyone know how to get past this so I can have my SS for the playoffs?

I assume they did what they did back in 2K10...which is to take the first game from each real life series....which I kind of liked. I would guess that 104 is 2 games from each series??

I also liked the 40 game schedule from back in 2K3. That was set up with some 2 game sets against division rivals. I like shorter seasons, but one thing I miss out on is the feeling of a 3 or 4 game series as opposed to individual games. But I don't like simming games, and I don't have time for 162, so something has to be sacrificed.

that was a glitch in 11, but its still happening.
Not sure of a workaroudn myself, maybe another OSer has one.
It happened to me with Brett Gardner and he returned to the team the third game in the following spring.
I just made believe he had a season ending injury.

Thinking of getting this, but a question:

My wife likes to play baseball games with me sometimes, but she doesn't like to field. Can you turn fielding to automatic, and could I save a user profile just for her so I don't have to change the setting every time we play?
