The message that appears after pinch hitting for the pitcher seems to be controlled by the home team. Example, while I was the visiting team, after the inning ends, I was unable to acknowledge that a position player was on the mound to bring in a new pitcher. So I asked my opponent to hit the a button.

However, the next game, I was the home team and it worked fine for me (my opponent did not pinch-hit for his pitcher).

Also, there are alot of quirky animations. Transition animations needs to look smoother.

Update: I played another game online and pinch-hit for my pitcher. The message popped up about having a position player on the mound and would I like to substitute the pitcher. I was able to select the A button and manage my substitution. So this issue seems sporadic.

Big time problem here. I hit the ball into left field, and after it passed 3rd, it goes into foul territory. In foul territory, the outfield fence goes back around 10 or so feet. The ball bounces around in that corner, and the left fielder runs over to get to it. Instead of going around the wall into the indented space, he goes in a straight line from his normal position and just runs into the wall and stays in that same spot at the wall and never reaches the ball.

Here's an animation transition that needs to be cleaned up . . .

My outfielder drifts straight back and I get him settled under the ball. He'll quickly do a half turn one way, then the other before making the catch.

another one...allow us to edit players that are drafted. Sometimes the names that are generated are just dumb and make no sense. Allow us to edit them to make them more realistic.

Also...no way should a player just drafted be able to take the place of someone already on the MLB roster. Somehow you have to prevent this instead of making us go through the rosters and sending them all down.

If possible, please! patch in the pickoff attempts to 1st from 2K8. These pitchouts where the catcher fires to 1B after receiving the ball are killing me.

As someone stated earlier have them throw behind runners who've taken too big of or have gotten too relax after a secondary lead alas Yadi Molina, or Mike Napoli in Game 6 of the Series last year, that would be great.

But having these pitchouts be the only means to check (try to control), a base-stealing threat at 1st is just wrong. In life most throws, whether to try and pick-off or just let the runner know your'e aware are made to 1st, but in 2K those throws are made when the runner reaches 2nd base.

I've played nearly 100 games into my player mode, all played not single game simmed, and haven't seen any clutch moment at all.

Last year they were in there mostly when you simmed games so, will be the same this year?

I don't like to simm games, please include clutch moments out of simulation

EDIT: I just had 3 clutch moments on 2 consecutive games, 2 of them playing extra innings, tied game and RISP

                  Franchise mode:

Whenever you promote/demote a AAA to the MLB level, they loose their real life appearance in games. They turn into this "Bald Generic" player model on the field. In edit mode they still look normal, but on once you load up your next game they have this bald generic appearance on the field.

When Duston Pedroia was sent to AAA, and re-promoted to MLB, he suddenly morphed into this bald generic look every time while playing a game after that.

THIS BUG HAS BEEN IN THE GAME SINCE 2k9!!! FIX IT!! IT HAPPENS WHILE TRADING/RECEIVING PLAYERS TOO!

guys... u really need to "dumb" down your requests... they clearly so not have the skill to fix most of these issues...

easy fixes like the ridiculously repetitive autosaving is all we can hope for...

Can you tweak the offensive sim stats? This simulation stats are really geared toward elite pitchers. After simming a couple a seasons, I saw no statistical outliers for batters, but a couple for pitchers.

No need to be like that. The released game is in good shape, so I don't see why they can't tackle some of these issues - which none are game killing, btw.

Pitcher doesn't seem to throw to cutoff man. There's been a lot of times I've scored from third because the ball is rolling on the ground while everyone is standing around watching.

Stats are skewed in favor of pitching stats. After simming 5 seasons:

The leader in HR has only hit in the low 40's
one season 19 teams had ERA under 3.5 (compared to 4 in 2011)
team batting ave for #1 team was around .260 (compared to .283 in 2011)
team HR are 20-30 fewer per team than in RL

I'm sure it has been said in here but didn't feel like reading all the pages. The pitchers fielding or lack of fielding bunts needs to be fixed.

Also, I've said before, cut off men positions.

I also would like to see the infielders pop up quicker from diving attempts. They dive, field the ball, and lay there like they are resting, then pop up. Should be a quicker dive, slide, pop up, throw
