Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance
Just used a gift card to pick this up. The game looks great at some points...not so great at others. It does look better than 2K11 though.
Anyway, Specs:
Intel Core i7 @ 4.6 ghz (OC'd)
16GB Ram
GeForce GTX 580 3GB Ram
MSAA On
MSAA 8
MSAA Quality 3
Side Line High
Shader High
Anosotropic Filter HIGH
Texture HIGH
Shadow HIGH
Particle ON
Depth of Field ON

Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance
Okay, I am not going to post pictures, because I have no clue how to do that and if someone doesn't believe me, that is their problem.
Intel Core i7 @ 2.2 GZ
8 GM Ram
Intel HD Graphics 3000
MSAA off
Side Line High
Shader High
Anosotropic Filter off
Texture HIGH
Shadow low
Particle ON
Depth of Field ON
I get around 40-50 FPS. If I turn the shadows up, the players disappear in the field and only their hats show. I also have problems with that swing review cam, which makes the batter do the same, so I turned it off. I guess this is just to tell people with the HD 3000 that they can run the game. I just upgraded from 4 GB RAM to 8 GB, but it ran with the 4GB, but a little slower unless you turned down the graphics.Comment

Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance
I finally managed to get a copy after realising 2K aren't releasing the game over here this year (Including Steam, which is just weird to me)
I have a Dell XPS 17 Laptop which off the top of my head has
Core i7 2.2gig processor
8 gig of RAM
Nvidia 555m (Which I've over clocked up to the stock clocks of a 460m)
I have maxed the game out completely at 1600x900 (Max resolution of my screen) and the game is as smooth as butter. I haven't run FRAPS or the benchmark yet but to me it feels like its rocking along at at least 60fps.
I'm pleasantly surprised as last year I encountered quite a bit of stuttering and had to totally remove AA and go with the FXAA injector to get smooth frame rates when the ball was put in play. This year I'm using 8x MSAA and the game looks crisp and runs perfectly. I've tested several stadiums and so far its running great. Hats off to 2K for doing some optimisation! If this is the last game to be released in this series then they have done a great job of making sure it runs well on even a modest set up like mine.Comment

Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance
Hey guys! Here is what I'm running on. Ok setup I guess, but I can't get more than 32 fps. Game is playable I suppose, but I keep hearing people saying that it runs smooth as butter for them and I would like the same. Is it because of the RAM???
Sony VAIO, i7-2670QM, CPU @2.20 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 64-bit Operating System
Nvidia GeForce GT 520M- 512 MB, DDR 3
Game Settings:
Resolution- 1680 x 1050
Window Mode- Off
VSync- On
MSAA- Off
MSAA Quality- N/A
Sideline Characters- Medium
Shader Quality- High (have tried lower setting with no difference)
Anisotropic Filter- Medium
Texture Quality- Medium
Shadow Quality- Medium
Particle Effects- On
Depth of Field- OnComment

Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance
Not sure, but my laptop can do 1080p with max settings, no AA, and get 70-80fps. The 520M is slower for sure, but is it *that* much slower? Again, my system defaulted to the Intel GPU for 2K12, so from my experience it won't use the nV GPU unless you tell it to.Comment

Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance
How much RAM do you have. I've tried everything and still can't get more than 40 FPSComment

Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance
I have 1GB, but I don't think that's the problem. If RAM was the issue, you'd be getting hitching and stuttering all the time, not just low framerates.Comment
