I'm getting annoyed in my first 8 starts or so, I have yet to be allowed to go more than 5.2 IP. My PC has only been in the 50s or so. I was at 65 the last time, and that was my probably my highest when getting pulled. My record is 2-1. 4 times I have been yanked while leading only for the bullpen to blow it (one time had 3-0 lead...lost 9-3)

Re: My Player Pitcher Discussion
I'm having the opposite problem actually. I started as a "workhorse" though, so maybe my guy is just wired differently. In a recent start, I had a 3 run lead in the 9th, but my stamina had just plummeted, and I couldn't complete a pitch. I somehow got out of the inning, but about 60% of my pitches were wild. I got the win this time, but the manager's hook is far too slow on me.Comment

Re: My Player Pitcher Discussion
I started a closer today, so I am still in AA but I noticed after about 30 games, that I have never once been pulled from a game. And then what really stuck out is I just played a game where it went to 19 innings and they brought me in....in the 13th. I ended up through 75 pitches and gave up 6 runs in the 19th because I was throwing 82 MPH fastballs because any breaking ball ended up as a wild pitch, so I was just wondering if not being taken out for any reason was happening to anyone else or just me.Comment

Re: My Player Pitcher Discussion
I'd like to see you at Fenway!
My Player is doing great. ERA about 2.20 and about 20 K's in 9-10 appearances. I am still a Set-Up Man. I expect if the REd Sox get rid of K-Rod, I will become the new closer.
Also, Can you play as a Pitcher who is a Middle-Reliever/Long Reliever or Just a Starter or Closer?GT: hawkeye2188Comment

Re: My Player Pitcher Discussion
Ok so I made a left handed workhorse pitcher in the Rangers organization. I played in AA for a season and met my goals the beginning of year 2. Then I got called up to the AAA and only after one game I got called up to the majors. My season goals never changed they are exactly the same as they were my first year in AA. Im guessing it will change at the beginning of next season.
I also can not find the hall of fame or milestone goals anywhere. Nor do I ever have a clutch moment.
Also my guy is only a 68 overall and is just dominate. Im just playing on the default settings and have 12 starts 1 perfect game, 8 CG and 7 Shut outs. I have yet to walk a batter and im in the top 10 in K's. The other pitchers have between 8-12 more games started than me.Comment

Re: My Player Pitcher Discussion
I had a problem at first with not being able to make it in time but then I kept getting player of the game and would increase my speed, now I have no problem making it in time.Comment
