Just like last year, I am pretty much disappointed with this game. Should have listened to others on the board when they said this is pretty much like last years version. For those who are enjoying it... I'm happy for you. But to me.... This is a trade in.

Have to agree. I'm not a huge gamer outside of baseball games. And since I don't have the arm and the leg to get a PS3, 2K is what I have to settle for. Sure it's not perfect, but it's better than my other option, which was MLB 10 The Show for PS2, with horrible game play and all of that.

That's odd, most gamers I talk to say MLB the Show is the greatest baseball game ever made, let them tell it. I just want to know if it's so good, why is it only available on PS3?

it's only on ps3 because it's made by sce san diego studio (part of sony computer entertainment)

I am not sure what your point is. But it's PS3 exclusive because it's a first party title made by Sony.

I am fortunate enough to have a PS3 and after a week or so of playing 2k, I realized that this game is simply not that good lol. The commentary is very good, but with the choppyness of the game alone I can never play a game smoothly. The Show is so extremely better, it's unfortunate that xbox360 users can't enjoy it

Both games really need attention before you get into their greatness, and if they both get a fair shot you'll come away enamored with what they can offer.

If you can get through the Show's steep learning curve it has a world to offer as far as baseball gameplay goes.

If you can get through 2k12's odd behavior you'll be rewarded with some true charm and beyond deep statistical tracking. It basically has pro baseball reference for your franchise.

On the PS3, it's an amazing game.

But I don't have the money for a PS3, so I was always getting the PS2 copies of The Show until they stopped making them. Obviously you can't compare the quality/features of PS2 to the PS3 version.

That's because no one cares about the NPB, or even knows what it is.

Besides Missile Command hittings sucks, but that's another topic.

I actually want a PS3 for this game. I guess I'd would buy the Show too though. That being said, MLB 2K series have had there problems. But I am liking this years game and I am playing it every night lately. I have had XBOX since launch and just not really wanted a PS3 until recently discovering PYS. But really can't justify dropping 250 on a game console right now.
