I really like what I'm seeing. I'm going to keep all the settings right where they're at now.

        Re: Anticipation Attribute

well, so far so good. i just got my first inside the park home run.

votto drove what should have been a single up the middle. (miami) juan pierre dove for it and the ball rolled to the fence. votto scored easily.

even the basic double plays look better. instead of players sometimes running up on medium hit grounders they are waiting more often. plus i finally, finally, finally hit a ball up the middle on miami and the SS dove and missed it by a yard or so.

in my last Pre-25 franchise series against miami to open the season, they must have dove for about 15 to 20 grounders up the middle and got every one of them.

stanton hit a ball down the line with votto barely being able to move.

there are more line drive singles without the infield making leaping grabs.

i think it is helping on stolen bases.

Does anyone have any other video of plays at the plate, new animations and or real smooth looking plays? I had a couple but my mac book crashed so I've been unable to upload any.

Still amazed how the separation between plays is so great now. Ortiz CAN NOT PLAY FIRST ANYMORE!!!!!! It's awesome!

I'm totally loving the player separation now - and I'm seeing actual line drive animations I've never seen before (and this is probably close to 1,000 games played). Just amazed...

Played 2 games on default and then switched to the anticipation rosters. Wow, what a difference! I lost the game 3-2 but it was a lot of fun.

I'm thinking about starting a franchise, but do I need to control all 30 teams so that when the draft happens I can edit those players down to 25 anticipation as well?

I plan on using the reditor to globally edit the new players in franchise mode after seasons. I also turn, "manage cpu rosters" to ON, in franchise. Not sure if it lets you edit, will check tomorrow.

I started a franchise the other day. But I'd hold off for now as there is a roster coming out that has contracts done as well.

Check out the Sliders thread and try MKharsh's set and my set. Both play great games.

Also added a few videos to the Rosters thread of the plays that I got in today's game that I never had prior to the 25 anticipation edit.

So, all you did was edit all the players to 25 anticipation?

I am pretty stoked for this. I have been playing 2k11 for 360 a lot lately, but I want to start a 2k12 PC franchise for when the kids are playing Just Dance 4.

Now all I need to do is find a decent roster that doesn't crash franchise modes, or at least make my own and then let her rip.

All catchers also received a block plate rating of 99. They will play much smarter on balls coming to home plate. There other defensive ratings create separation, so no fear of a vanilla/bland roster (with this 360 file being worked on). The game now plays the way it was truly meant to be played...

So will only be good for play now games. Cause I'm sure if you started a franchise drafted rookies would be a screwy agin, right?

I am in franchise now with these rosters. I plan on using the Reditor to globally edit the rookies after each season.

Or I'll do what I did in NHL 2k10 with the goalies season to season. I just edit each team I play as I play them. Before you know it your done.

Not ideal obviously, but the way the game plays now, it will be worth it.

thats exactly what i am planning to do if it dont go to 2k13.

i hope 2k still reads this forum and makes this adjustment to their next game.

I doubt they do. After a lot of consideration I went out and picked up 2k12 for $15. With these changes its a totally different game. I HIGHLY doubt 2k13 is going to be much (if any improvement) over 12.

Given the option of paying $60 for a slight update that had next to no development time or $15.... My choice was clear. Now if 2k13 was going to be $30 instead? I might have considered that.

All that said, I hope I'm not pissed and the game really has some great improvements.

Well guys I must say you have excited me for a franchise this season. I had been going back and forth between 2k11 and 2k12 just looking for something new. I am hoping this will be it.

I'm firing up a Blue Jays 52-game franchise today, and I cannot wait.
