You don't qualify for season goals until your second season I believe.

This will be my second season, played a couple spring training games.. I did just read that it's supposed to come up right after spring training so hopefully.. but I got another GM message when spring training started saying about starting midseason so no season goals.. which isn't accurate since I'm playing the full season in majors

If I remember right, I got season goals after spring training. As long as you don't get sent down to the minors, you will get your goals after spring training.

I'm just about done with spring training so we'll see soon.. I stopped for 3 days to buy Sniper 2 when it came down $20.. what a waste that was since I finished in about 9 hours of real time, but that's off topic

The only change I have noticed is when your pitcher gets a hit they put a jacket on him on base. Lol

Finished my first spring training.. made the team in July in first season.. this will be my first FULL season for 'my player' in 2k13.. just wanted to confirm that indeed, when spring training ended I got a message from the manager that because I was called up in the middle of the season I don't get a season goal.. so that part of the game is still broken for me the same as it was in 2k12. I would THINK I should get a season goal when I'm starting from game 1.

I know the Twins rotation isn't that good.. and the bullpen isn't proven.. but wow.. 2k13 has it even worse than it really is.. if my players team isn't down 3-0 after the 1st.. it blows a lead in the 8th or 9th.. I've seen so many games that finished with scores like 8-2 with no chance at victory even if I cheated and hit a home run every at bat I couldn't catch up

Just traded myself to the Red Sox instead.. I want to hit some balls off the green monster with a shot to win some games 5-11 start for Twins was hard to play

Does your ETA meter have to be completely full to be called up?

Does anyone know why I can't get traded? It's not past the deadline. And Im in the majors. I go to career decisions and it won't let me select a team to be traded to?

Did you request a trade earlier andget traded? I did in the minors from Syracuse (nationals) to Pawtucket (Red Sox) and I wan't able to request another trade regardless of the trading deadline.

There is nothing 'truly" wrong with my player mode. I am in my 3rd season and finally finished my goals ( 6 sac bunts??).I refused to do this until I finally realized I could hit .450 with 12 HR in spring ball and still get sent back down. The good thing is my ratings were well tuned when I got the call halfway through the year.

You can also create "My Player" with a different "core" of attributes. I enjoy it and yes, it is slow to build attributes but you can also create and mold your player. It just takes more time and of course where you play. ( I am a all-round Catcher).

If you wish to jump right in and be a supertar then I suggest you create a player in Franchise and skip My Player mode.

You get called up when you meet the attribute levels and goals they wish you to acheive. I never got called up until I finally did 6 sac bunts. Kinda silly but it is what it is.
