Wait, actually, there might BE collision detection... because the ONE frame that I can see where the ball is visible just shows it once right about to hit the center field ivy stuff, and it either goes through or bounces back up. I HOPE that it's bouncing back up.

I don't really go into detail with these movies, so things I noticed:
      Power Pitching meter
      Field feels much bigger

They also had Andy Pettitte as a Yankee, which puts off the torture of seeing him pitch in a non Yankee uniform for a little while longer.

This is my opinion so please don't flame me if you disagree with me.

The overall feel of ESPN Baseball feels too much like WSB2k3. Granted, they added new animations and new player faces but too many things still feel the same. It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing though as I thoroughly enjoyed last years solid game. As long as ESPN Baseball is harder (in terms of difficulty) and the franchise mode is more finely tuned, then I'm a happy camper.

However, I do believe I am going to give ASB2005 a shot this year, as well. Last year's effort seemed solid on every aspect of the game EXCEPT the actual gameplay itself. Spring 2004 will be a very exciting time for baseball gamers.

I don't think I will be throwing my 2 cents in on WSB anymore considering every thread about the game has someone who picks apart videos frame by frame lurking in it.

I'll wait until I am playing the game before I start analyzing things.

doesnt it look like they took the pitching windup meter from MVP and put it in ESPN? It says effort - I reallly liked that this could be good
