Re: it is this simple....
Well, I do understand, but then again, that analogy is exactly what I mean... you're being a LITTLE too literal about it, I mean we can't expect it to be near perfect on the PS3 and Xbox Next... I mean realism is a far... FAR way away from what we are at now... we really can't expect it.
Maybe you can give me some examples...Comment

Re: it is this simple....
How about the hornet nests that pop up from time to time? You'll see fans nearby clear the area, the game will be stopped to rid the area of the problem...
How about that bug issue last year at Wrigley? Nobody could see anything on the field.. it was insane.
What about when Trachsel took about a minute inbetween pitches that one time? That'd really piss me off as the batter... but hey it is realistic, no?
What about the time when the White Sox marched into the stands and started fighting with the fans? Man would that be funny to see.
I'd also love to see a Preston Wilson-esque collision with the Wrigley Field ivey... so funny to see him hit it then get knocked out cold...
Sometimes when robbing a home run, the announcers shouldn't automatically call it an out.. they should be clueless at first whether the fielder has the ball or not.
Ah, and pitchers should also get into fights with people in the dugout, then get fined for it. If Pedro Martinez is involved in one of the fights, he should have his own signature "bash zimmer" animation where he grabs the guy's head and throws him down.
Those are just some thoughts I had about increased realism in today's baseball games...Comment

What they're trying to do is cut corners because the average gamers doesn't have 3 hours to finish a game. I personally would love to see something like the catcher throw the ball back at the pitcher but maybe it's a time thing.Comment
