MuffinMcFluffin, lets talk for a minute. Ive been a huge WSB fan since the days of the dreamcast and Ive always loved the seriers. There always a time that comes when things that were once great END, it hurts sometimes but we get over it. WSB is dying a slow death and I thought I would never be saying this right now but I am. We both know how great this series was. Ever year that this game was in the making I was damn happy and ever time I saw the new screens and vids I loved it. This year I wasn't even excited at all about WSB, the reason being is that when I saw the first screens and vids Sega really let me down they really did nothing much to improve the game I once loved so much, they didn't keep up with the rest of the games this year and have fallen behind that is a shame. So MuffinMcFluffin start digging the hole and I'll start to lower the coffin cause WSB seems like it almost dead, Sorry SEGA but thanks for the great years of WSB, I hope you guys come back stronger next year, cause when MLB from 989sports looks better then WSB its shows that you didn't put that much effort this year.

Actually, the only thing that I liked about World Series Baseball 2K1 was some of the batting stances and the faces. I think that the rest flat out SUCKED!

WSB2K1 did suck. I took it back the next day. I tried so hard to like that game and I couldn't. WSB2K1 and Virtua Fighter TB were the only 2 Dreamcast games I didn't like.

Footballforever you have to realize you are basing your decision on a feakin demo. ESPN NFL was way different than the demo they put out and I'm sure it will be the same for ESPN MLB.

If you want to get down and dirty MVP and all the rest of them had lower review scores online and in print than WSB2K3. ESPN MLB will probably still be the higher rated game out but I guess that doesn't count for anything.

Have you played a full versons or demos of any of the other baseball titles?

Until you have played a full version of ESPN MLB you can't say it's bad compared to anything else out there. I'm glad we get the best baseball game $10 cheaper.

Yeah even on the most current released videos it looks like very little got changed I would say the game was tweaked and Online play was added. THat might make me look for a used copy but I'm gonna get an Action Replay and go with MVP this year it really looks like that's the BB game to beat.

I won't go either way as to say what I think of this game yet, but I do know that the football demo and videos were lame and not representative of the game at all. I realize I could be comparing apples to oranges, but I like to try the GAME for myself first. I've seen lots of stuff in videos for all the games that have made me want to put my fist through the screen. Just going on last year's game I'll be trying this one first.

I won't go either way as to say what I think of this game yet, but I do know that the football demo and videos were lame and not representative of the game at all.
