    PS3 Owner Getting MLB 2k

As a PS3 owner I've found certain elements of MLB the Show 13 to be annoying. Pitching is way too easy (even on the highest of difficulty settings). CPU trades in the offseason often are very lopsided. And player declines for older players are quite frankly very unrealistic.

    Anyways here's some 2k13 questions I have:

-I've been reading about 2k and its pitching interface. Is it truly as good as it hyped to be (atleast in comparison to the show). And also realistic, in terms of CPU hitters catching on to redundant pitching patterns.

-Do I have the ability to edit the settings in 2k13 to make sure no CPU/CPU trades occur?

-Does 2k13 have a draft and rule 5 draft (I read these weren't in 2k12).

-Can I edit player batter and pitching stances and throwing motions (not just for my team, but for CPU teams).

-In franchise mode can I choose which stadium I play games in?

-MLB the Show has ridiculous player decline for older players. Does this occur in 2k13 as well?

-How do player declines and gains occur (in terms of being automatic or controlled via training sessions).

Thanks so much for any help which can be given

Edit: Is there also the ability to guess what pitch is coming to you as a hitter, and if guessed correctly you see where the pitch will be thrown?

I can answer some of your questions, but this is coming from a pissed of 360 owner.

    1. 2K's pitching is very good. Depending on the pitch. Some pitches are very simple, such as a fastball. But others are nearly impossible, such as R.A Dickey's Knuckle. All in All, it can become easy if you continue to work on it. But a bad gesture can send the ball into the parking lot.
    2. 2K has a draft, but no rule 5 draft. IMO, the amateur draft is horrible. The draft is full of "prospects" that can make the majors without any minor league play simply because their ovr is in the high 70's. The pitching section has 70's until the last 2 rounds. They completely over-rate the created players.
    3. No
    4. 2K has player decline if they have a bad season. Take that as you please
    5. After seasons.
6.Well, there is an attribute called batters eye. And unlike the show, you dont guess what pitch is coming. A high batters eye tells you what pitch it is and where its going. A low batters eye keeps you guessing.

Just wanted to mark this as the day the acquisition of Kendrick Perkins sparked a debate about stacking your team.

I have a PS3 and I have MLB The Show and MLB 2K for PC. The pitching system is better/different and it can be harder or it could be easier depending on how you are able to adapt to the new pitching system. As for horrid CPU trades in MLB The Show, you should try using 30-team control for your franchise. If you set it up correctly, the CPU will still make trade offers to other team but you can play the role of commissioner and reject any trade that you don't see fit.
