It's going to be a solid game... I'm planning on buy MVP and ESPN - while MLB has my intrest too.
I personally like the hitting for this year in ESPN... I hope that MVP is pretty similar since to me it'll be kind of like the hitting of High Heat in 2 other forms which would be cool.

McMuffin, it's kind of funny to see you've got your Avatar changed to MVP... I'm sure that'll iriate a few people here.

It's been amaizng how pissy some people have gotten with you. Keep up the constructive critisim, it's been entertaining.


What platform are you guys planning on buying MVP and ESPN for? Just wondering if I might see any of you online.

And second of all, the dude in the pic was my best friend. He passed away a few months ago. Someone was very nice to make a cover for me in loving memory of him.

Yeah, it is.

The game wasn\'t improved much, no worse than last year

I played the demo at GameStop this past Saturday. Last year WSB 2K3 was my favorite by far. The game in itself looks prettier, but the same problems still exist from last year's WSB 2K3 (I quit playing after about 2-3 minutes):

* loopy swinging
* pitch speeds not realistic &amp; little movement
* replays still suck - nothing was shown on the replay of double-play between second and first, except for the first baseman catching the ball for the second out.
* commentary still sucks
