Re: Will you buy Espn based on the $39.99 Price point?????
The supporters of Sega crack me up, and I only played WSB 2K3 last year (honestly, the others sucked).
You don't MAKE people play your game by selling it cheaper, the market is too savvy and mature now for that. We've been saturated with commercials galore for decades now, where no one -- except for Gomer Pyle -- is going to buy the marketing hype. In today's age higher prices USUALLY reflect a better product. That said, you MAKE the game better, then the consumers will PAY to play it!Comment

Re: Will you buy Espn based on the $39.99 Price point?????
What's truly amazing is that you can get the game for $29.99, if you have the $10 game voucher from the coke promotion.
For those of you who dont know....
For those of you who dont know, for the past couple of weeks, Coca-Cola and SEGA currently have a deal for at least the next several months that allows gamers who drink Coca-Cola, can saves $$$ on games. You have to look under the caps of 20 oz. Coke, Vanilla Coke or Cherry Coke for either a prize (ranging from a 42-inch FLAT SCREEN TV to simply a free Coke) or look for a code redeemable at www.cokesports.com.I have started my cap collection already and am almost to one of the alotted $10 game vouchers (unfortnatly they cant be combined but hey money off is money off.)
So therefore, ESPN Baseball is techincally 29.99, yay!!!!!Comment

Metalslug,
Depending on how you obtained that store credit you may already be in the hole and will most likely be paying more than most of us.

I sold them Max Payne 2 and I asked the manager he already assured me that they will take the money off the next game I buy as long as I still have the coupon.Comment

Another way to get the game for $29.99 is to be a ESPN Insider subscriber. This was an unexpected nice bonus. If you subscribe, you get ESPN Magazine plus helpful insights to all the fantasy sports games you play. Plus all the articles that says "In" on it, you get to read. Another cool article they have is rumor mill. Get to see all the latest rumors on potential trades.
Anyways, looking forward to this game!Comment
