Sure thing Ruiz, well, first of all, I have Game Informer, and they rated MVP a 9.5 and 9.25, while ESPN got a 7.5 and 7.0. They said that basically ESPN was the same game last year, with new features, but the atmosphere is still bad(meaning the crowd is silent the whole game). Let me look back online, see if I can find those reviews. I'll post em in a sec.

I think All-Star Baseball is the enigma of the games so far, even though ESPN is not out yet. I think we all know what we're getting with ESPN. I have been reading these boards for days now trying to figure out which game I'm going to purchase, and it seems you either hate or love ASB. I wish it would be available for rent so I can see for myself.

Actually, I'd be willing to bet my paycheck that the crowd is not silent the whole game. I remember last year had plenty of crowd noise. I especially remember how the crowd would get exceptionally loud if you brought the winning run to the plate or had the chance to bust the game open.

One thing I did that really helped was I went in to the options and jacked the crowd noise all the way up. On my surround system I got plenty of noise in the rear speakers and it really made a difference to me.

Now maybe it doesn't have hecklers and vendors, but I certainly don't think the crowd just sits there silent.
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?

I could careless about a review from GameInformer.I like what Gamepro said (even though it's a kiddie magazine) if you don't like the league leaders this is a good alternative, and a good baseball game.I have MVP,which is a great baseball game, but the mistakes that EA made are just stupid; no wind, all playoff games played during the day, lefty topspin bug,and a progression bug. Also i've played this MLB 2005,and it is horrible,i don't know what reviewers see in this game. That's why i'm looking forward to ESPN,if it's anything like WSB2K3 it will be the best baseball game IMO.

MLB 2005 horrible? What are you smoking on? This is a huge step for 989, and MLB this year kicks major ***. Well guys, I think tomorrow I'm gonna pick up MVP for Xbox, and an Action Replay so I can download the latest roster updates. Still not 100% sure yet though...
