Can you show 1 source (besides "the guy at gamestop") that rates Espn the top baseball game of the year?

Fundamental, realistic baseball? ESPN is filled with turbo buttons, unrealistic swing animations, ungly unproportional player models, and the works. THIS is realistic baseball? And guys, please, every year I hear about how EA is evil and all that crap, and I'm frankly tired of it. Just face the facts that EA has made a better game, and it's obviously showing up in the reviews. I haven't seen one review of ESPN YET that is above 79%. Looks like Sega dropped the ball on this one.

Odd. You created this thread seeking information to help you decide between MVP and ESPN, yet it seems you had your mind made up all along. I am glad you are enjoying MVP, but there is really no need to troll over here.

Yeah it is kind of funny how he starts off as an innocent neutral gamer and then he, doesn't defend MVP, but attacks ESPN. It's pretty obvious he had his mind made up from the beginning.

Its pretty obvious that Sega fans refuse to believe that EA could have made a better baseball game this year.

Mvp looks somewhat "fun" in exhibition mode and might be very cool if owned a ton of great games and only played each title occasionally just to briefly enjoy the eyecandy and fun aspects (like an arcade).

However when i get a sports game I like to jump into deep franchises, I play online against highly skilled competition, I do rosters and maybe join an online league.

I can't play mvp online on my Xbox and there is no way i can play 51% (or whatever the supposed player progression simulation barrier is ?) So that means my career franchise would be without proper progression as well as leftys being handicaped in games i did play, as well as dealing with CPU A.I. thats dumber then a bold moose ???

How is mvp a better game for me ?

What are you talking about? If MVP turns out better than ESPN I will absolutely point it out and support the game for next year. I only started liking ESPN last year because EA, with the exception of Madden football, was a disappointment. Why is there always talk about fanboys and crap like that?
