I called some video game stores around here (EB, gamestop, etc.) and they all said May 5th. I am guessing it will come out sooner but that would definitely suck.

If it is in fact pushed back until May 5th, maybe they are doing so to address some of the glitches that have been reported in the versions already released..

People say they would rather wait a month and have a quality product, instead of a rushed bug-filled one, and maybe that is what is going on here.

From what I read here on the forums, ESPN Baseball seems far from bug-filled, but no game is bug-free, so a delayed release could mean they will address some of the issues that are present.

Or it couldn't mean that at all, but it's certainly a possiblity I would think.
