Baserunning Problems.

I've been noticing that baserunning controls can be very problematic. There is a serious delay in trying to get runners to advance and sometimes they won't advance at all. Baserunning is the only problem I'm running into with this game. Anyone else seeing? If not, a little help please.

I did at first, but it's a matter of timing. Say you hit a ball in the gap. Once the runner rounds 1st, then hit the L trigger and he'll go to second. If you hold L down before that, the runner won't go.

I noticed this too. The problem, for me anyway, was hitting the advance to next base button(stick + X for XBOX) at the same time as the CPU would have him stopping after rounding first. This caused the animation to like this:

Animation to stop running and go back to base
MY INPUT TO TELL HIM TO GOTO SECOND
Animation to turn around and go to 2nd base.


Once I figured that out and decided to advance sooner, there was/is no problem. Sometimes I make poor decisions though.

i have yet to have any trouble advancing my base runners.

two ways to avoid this problem........

1. Set "Auto Round Base" to OFF
2. use the X button to "advance all runners.
