If you put the ball in play, it counts as an at-bat, unless it's a sacrifice.
If you walk or get hit by a pitch, it's not.
I could understand confusion if we're talking some more obscure play, like a catcher's interference, but on these everyday occurences?Comment

Re: Major bug found@@@@
I had one that I'm still not sure of, and I posted it earlier.
Now, I know that the game will read this as a hit, because it doesn't have this kind of visual logic.
But, what I'm referring to is a fielder's choice play, but everybody is safe.
For example: You're up to bat, there's a runner on first. You hit a groundball to the right of the second baseman, and he dives for it. He doesn't know where the runner is going to second (how far he is to the bag), but realizes that you are still far away from first. He assumes he still has a shot at the guy at two, or just to turn a double play. So, he doesn't go for you, and he goes for the guy at second, thus making it a fielder's choice. However, the runner going to second makes it, and everybody's safe.
Is that an 0-1, 0-0, or 1-1? I'm not sure of it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

It was the fielder's choice not to go for you when he could have easily had you out. It doesn't matter whether his throw results in an out somewhere else or not.

Yeah, that's what I figured.
But, like I said, the game will most likely credit you with a hit, because it's not programmed with that kind of visual logic that you can have in real life.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
