Yes, at Sega's site. I was having the same problem. Seems like the effort meter is feast or famine. You'll get more Ks, but risk getting rocked.

When I put more effort into the curve it almost always comes out very flat. My first 3-4 games I was using the effort meter on just about every pitch and was getting rocked. When I started just tapping or using very little of the meter my pitches were more effective. I'm not saying your wrong because I haven't read the manual. I guess I'll have to play around with it some more. Where can I read the on-line manual? Sega's site?

yea thats why i say its no 1 right answer.
basically all the ratings come into play (variability, then each pitch the pitcher has a control, velocity, movement ratings) Thats a lot of variables , so i have found that experimenting and you start to "learn" certain pitchers.Comment

Re: Any one have porblems with leaving pitched over the plate
Well, I tried it last night with Wakfield and Lowe. With the knuckleball the more effort I put into the pitch the more it danced around but with Lowe only the sinker had more movement on it.
I think your right in that it depends on not only the pitch type but the pitcher as well.Comment
