    Question about homerun balls?

I was thinking about getting the game this week, i heard good reviews about the game. I was wondering if homerun balls bounce off objects like signs, monuments, walls etc... Thanks

They will, but when it comes to the people in the seats, the ball will go right through them. Also, after the homerun, it cuts away rather quickly. You often times don't even get a chance to see a homerun land because it cuts away to the replay so fast.

The bouncing is awesome....especially when it hits off a building behind the stadium (I think there's one in the new Phillies park that does that) and personally when I see the ball disappear into the crowd I think it means someone caught it...so there wouldn't be any bouncing.

No, the ball literally goes through the crowd, and the camera definitely sells that.

Awesome, thanks alot guys. About the ball going through the crowd its ok, ill just say someone caught it aswell . I guess the homerun scenes are sorta like MVP Baseball, i noticed that in MVP baseball you only see the ball bounce in replays more than you would see it in action.

i hit one into the alleghaney(sp?) river @ PNC park in pittsburgh. it was 449ft , on the replay i couldn't see it go into the water because the camera stops and you have to angle back from centerfield to even see the river. I was able to track the ball until it went behind the stands , so it does seem possible to see it go in the river! on replay if you hit it in the right spot.
I think Cincy and SanFran stadiums also have splash

The landmark i would most like to homer off is the warehouse at oriole park. I assume/hope it would even bounce off of it since it is a building.

Next year collisions w/realistic reactions... outfield collisions, Wall Collisions, DoublePlay basepath collisions
