    What's your longest game-to-game franchise?

I've made it to about 35 games before deleting the franchise in disgust after my team went on a scoring drought for games on end, and the AI was getting lucky hit after lucky hit. I'm thinking of trying out playing one game per series, but what about you all?

Wow, um... I don't know if I should post this, but I'm in my second year of my franchise, about 50 games into it...

I've played each and every game so far. Not one simulation, not ONE. So, I've played about 210 consecutive games.

You don't know if you should post that? Looks good to me, nothing derogatory in it

What's it like at the end of the season? Is there a amateur draft and lots of trades?

I still have another season going.

i am taking a break for a couple months. i will be starting the 2006 season then. with video baseball, i play a lot of games at the beginning of a season to get the feel of the team. i play one game a series after that.

i like the new sim features the new games have. with espn, i gamecast the rest of the series and frequently take over at least the late innings if its close.

i play all playoffs. at the end of the season if i am in a pennant chase, i play full series against my top division or wild card rivals.

i like the idea of developing talent, so i want to experience several seasons and i cant do that playing every game.

props to you blzr for finding a game you like and sticking to it. i am the type who have two or three sports franchises going at the same time.

I have a feeling that I MAY wait for the 2006 baseball video games to be released, because I don't want to feel like that I wasted my time playing all of the games rather than just simming them to get to later years. Unless Kusk or EA pulls something pretty tremendous out of their ***, I might hold onto this one, and just be totally blown away by a 2006 title.

Also, if you mean 3 or 4 sports franchises on this game, I'm not doing that. But, if you mean in general, I also have one for ESPN NFL 2K5 with the Chargers (again, playing every game). I'm in my third year in preseason, 0 - 2 so far. So, considering I've had 32 regular season games, 12 preseason games, and only had one Wild Card playoff game, I've played a total of 45 games in my franchise. That's some, also.

And finally, I had ESPN NHL 2K5 and ESPN NBA 2K5 rented at one point, and had a Sharks and a Nuggets franchise, playing every game. I played about 15 Nuggets games, and about 20 Sharks games.

So, there have been my ESPN franchise titles this year. Now, if you're thinking I have no life, think again. Those are the only games that I play (aside from my rented GTA right now), and I can only play on weekends. My weekends are also totally busy, I have to play most of these games in the morning or around 9:00 at night.

i have a pretty much similar schedule. mostly i play after 9 or 10 to wind down and go to bed.

i have espn hockey and nfl going right now and nascar dirt to daytona. i rotate which game i play nightly. i just picked that up and it is a niiiiiiice game. its older but i had read good things about it and i am glad i picked it up.

i am a firm believer that skipping a year is sometimes the best choice. i skipped nhl last year after i played 20 games and went back to nhl 2k3 and played 2 more seasons. i only tried this years hockey and nba because they are $20.

MUCH easier said than done! Every year I get frustrated with the bugs and think to myself "I'll just wait another year". As soon as the game comes out, there goes my wallet LOL.

i hear ya. when i buy a sequel, i keep the last years version until i am sure i am going to play the new one. if a series has two bad sequels in a row, i tend to give up on that series.
