True, I did the same saying that I would not look into any information on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas... low and behold, I was spoiled when I got the game.

I meant that I hear about the problems in a game and remember my experiences with the current version of a game and think "I won't be buying the new one this year", and I buy it anyway.

i am a firm believer that skipping a year is sometimes the best choice. i skipped nhl last year after i played 20 games and went back to nhl 2k3 and played 2 more seasons. i only tried this years hockey and nba because they are $20.
thats what i do with most sports games. Wait about 1 or 2 years, because in most cases there aren't too many changes from the previous game and the new one.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

These problems would be solved if these companies just let us continue a franchise into the new game.

I'm guessing that is a lot harder than it sounds, but maybe...

Oh, I'm sure it isn't the easiest to do, but its been done.

High Heat had this feature in their PC titles.

Morrowind has this feature from Morrowind to Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition.

                        OOTP even has this feature.

Obviously, the biggest issue seems to be that all of the above titles were built for the PC, but I think Morrowind is the biggest proof that it can be done on an XBOX (not too sure about PS2...maybe with the harddrive).

this is one thing i want especially for baseball games. you play 3 seasons at most if you play every game. and that is some serious playing. you have your 19 year old future slugger who may not develop until he is 23/24. so he sits and you never see if you developed him because the next game is out, it fixed the problems that plagued the version you have and you now have to start over.

please sega/vc, make a roster converter. it would guarantee repurchases for a lot of people. right now i am leaning toward mlb 2006 if it fixes its glitches.
