    can turbo be turned off?

was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the turbo boost can be turned off. If not, that's a huge ommision of options.

I agree. Turbo is the biggest waste of an option in sports games. Fast guys run fast, slow guys run slow, it is as simple as that. What the hell are the ratings for?

Fast guys do run fast as do slow guys run slow, however a turbo allows both people to run to their highest potential or a bit more...So even while using turbo, the fast guys are just as much faster as the slow guys...

Say player A has speed of 20... B has speed of 10.

Turbo makes A run at 25 and B run at 15... It makes no difference... Turbo just equals the player giving it all he's got...

Do players run the same speed all the time? Of course not, that is why turbo is in...

acceleration sounds much less acrady than turbo

think of it as an ACCELERATION option

yeah, you don't run your fastest all the time, and if you don't like it you don't have to use it
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

What would be good is if they used the turbo like a momentary speed boost. Say the runner has a speed rating of 90. His normal run speed would be 80. If you used the turbo button it would burst his speed up to his 90 rating for a few seconds. Arter that boost it would back down to 80 again. That way you can only use it in serious situations. Just a thought.

it could always be turned off before so i imagine it still can. sega is good at not forcing options on you. like letting you choose your hitting style, turning off variable ptiching, etc.
