I agree with someones post in another thread, most all of the throws go right to the guy. He doesnt have to move. The right fielder throws it from the wall and it is right on the dot. This doesnt happen in the MLB, unless your are Vlad or somtin, you would use your cut off man. Just seems unrealistic.

I agree. Most of the throws we've seen have been pretty accurate and very strong. I'm just hoping there's a slider to tweak this.

Heck, there's only a small handful of players who have an arm to make some of the throws we've seen:

                Vlad
                Ichiro
                Jose Guillen
                Richard Hidalgo
                Bobby Abreu

Those guys immediately come to mind. They are the few that can probably throw a laser from the warning track in RF to 3B on the fly.

I don't care what anyone says, I love the Slam Zone. And I'm a sim gamer. After watching the 2 POTD's, and seeing the Slam Zone in action I think it adds a lot to the game. If you pitch into a hitters hot zone, and don't make a perfect pitch, you have a chance of the hitter teeing up on the pitch. It's not a guarantee, it's only a chance. Which is just like real baseball. Play with fire, and you might get burnt. Both the pitcher and the hitter have a chance when Slam Zone is entered. Maybe I don't take myself as seriously as a lot of other people around here, but I like it.

I also think the bat sounds are getting a bad rap. The second video of the A's/Mariners game when Randy Winn breaks hit bat and grounds out to 3rd....sounds awesome to me. I also love the crack of the bat when someone gets good wood on the ball.

If I get it, it will be for Xbox.

I don't have Xbox Live, though. Sorry.

I like the knock down pitches. It was good seeing the batter eating some dirt!!

The fielding is not floating my boat at all. It looks way too similiar to last years. Still seeing some ball suction on certain plays, that kinda blows!!

The presentation is just about perfect. I did notice for the first time that there was some lag in the commentary. Nothing major though!

It is definately weird hearing that bat sound and only seeing the ball barely make it to the shortstop. Everytime I hear it, I start looking towards the outfield because I think its gone!
