Re: IGN Play of the Day (A's/Mariners)
I like this POTD much better than the first one. Not to defend some flaws I've seen (such as the Total lack of collision detection between players) but this game reminds me of my experience with College Hoops. As I learned the controls and learned to play better, the on screen action looked better and more realistic. I am really looking forward to this game.
We do have to realize that, just because they (VC) are touting this as a brand new game, the main gameplay engine is still underneath the new polish. We probably won't see the major upgrade until next-gen. As it is, I'm impressed. There are a lot of little touches, animation-wise and presentation-wise, that are really catching my eye. Now if it is 20 bucks, no contest for meNote to Tiburon Marketing:
A great product sells itself, no "back of the box" features required! (See Fifa...)

Originally posted by Angel_FanI agree with someones post in another thread, most all of the throws go right to the guy. He doesnt have to move. The right fielder throws it from the wall and it is right on the dot. This doesnt happen in the MLB, unless your are Vlad or somtin, you would use your cut off man. Just seems unrealistic.Comment

Re: IGN Play of the Day (A's/Mariners)
A single off the deepest part of the ballpark in left-center field wall is never a good thing. Also, the RF throws a ball in that rolls all the way to 3B and gets there in a hurry even though cutting grass for about 90 feet.
Presentation is excellent. The gameplay worries me in all the videos I have seen.
