2K5 out early ?

MVP is being released on the 22nd of Feb. Pushed up. Any chance 2K5 will match this?

Hmm, don't know if the move is good or bad, I just hope that Kush doesn't rush their game to get it out early.

The game is almost, if not, completely finished. All it would be is a few small things that could be left out/not fixed if they pushed it up a week. (like a jersey font needing to be a bit brighter, etc.)

The game is almost, if not, completely finished. All it would be is a few small things that could be left out/not fixed if they pushed it up a week. (like a jersey font needing to be a bit brighter, etc.)

Oh man! I was leaning toward buying 2k5 too, now I'll have to reconsider. I only have time for one game, so I'm only buying one. This news about MVP really throws a wrench into the equation.

there is no problem for me...for the first time in a long time in a while, i will be buying three games...MLB 2K5 is on the top of my list, then MLB 2006 (i have had a PS2 for a year and have not brought but one game for it, and i like the look of the animations) and then i will buy MVP, though i am afraid to...i brought the first one that was a classic, then last years sucked, so maybe the last one will be the best one...

I would not be surpised if 2K5 shipped early. VC and EA have played this game of "Releae Date Chicken" before, and they usually end up both releasing on the same early date.

Also, there is usually chaos, as retailers are uninformed and unprepared.

How many of you believe 2K5 will do a suprise early release due to the fact now MVP is expected a week earlier and 2K5 doesn't want to be left behind in sales.
