At least with EA, every console will have an NFL game made for it. With VC/Kush/T2, who knows the future of hardball on the PC, and lets not forget the GameCube people.

And lets not forget what a Bug-O-Thon VC/Kush/T2's sports games usually are.

I have only a Gamecube at this time and I can't thank EA enough for making this game for a system that isn't probably profitable for them!

No, I'm not happy about it. For all the same reasons I posted in the original "firestarter" topic 2 months ago (EA gains exclusive rights to NFL). I'm just tired of talking about the business of games rather than the games themselves...Unfortunately, that's the new environment of sports gaming. Remember when we used to complain about all the arguing over which football game was better? Guess that problem's been solved...

Happy about this? You've got to be kidding. Competition is always a good thing, good things make me happy, which means the lack of good things, like competition, make me sad. This year's MVP might be the best baseball game ever produced, or at least worth putting in the pantheon of the top couple games ever produced. High Heat? Well, that was the best of its time (and ahead of its time) but it was accepted as dead. Now we have another game that seems to want to take over the throne, MVP, and it's going to go the way of the Dodo after it's best performance?

Get ready for the dark ages, son, you're not going to like what you see.

While I hate both company's for getting rights for the different leagues I think MLB 2k6 can be spectacular next year.

They just need to redo the ball physics the ball looks like its 100lbs after it hits off the bat.

Redo all the animations or at least the fielding, throwing and swinging ones. Heh, wait that is about all of them.

Fix the look of the bats and gloves, they look horrible and it really irritates me.

Continue to build on the franchise mode and hopefully we can play minor league games.

The pitching is great, I love the kzone, the batting is ok I just do not like the 2 button swing option.

If they can get this and other stuff fixed mlb 2k6 looks like it could be a legend.

Im glad EAsports didnt get the MLB rights..its sad they did get the NFL rights as that was 2k's bread and butter and IS better then Madden but owell..we atleast have 2k making MLB for the future.
