Pitchers to powerfull
I could be wrong but I dont think there are many pitchers in the Majors that hit 95-100 constantly, but it seems almost every one with a half decent fast ball gets it up there. I think this takes away from guys like Gagne, and Schimdt when they can do. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just out of touch with the ability of the pitchers now. I was thinking about lowering the fastball speed for every one, but I need some input to make sure this is a problem.

Re: Pitchers to powerfull
I'm seeing this as well. Player ratings are not implemented properly in the game, and using sliders to try and make the pitchers perform more realistically just causes other aspects of the game to falter. What Kush needs to do is make the game work properly instead of just giving us more sliders. -

Re: Pitchers to powerfull
Agreed, there are way too many pitchers than can hit triple digits in this game than can in real life. I remember seeing a stat that said that in the 2003 season, the 100MPH mark was surpassed like 400 times, and I think 300 of those times were from Billy Wagner.
Not a whole lot of big leaguers can actually hit that, I think they need to tone it down some and make guys whose speed has dropped the last few seasons (i.e. Kerry Wood / Pedro sadly) and make them throw their realistic 96 MPH or 92MPH instead of 101MPH.Comment

Set your AI Change Speed to 90, that sould vary some of the pitch speeds.
