I dont think that will effect how fast a pitchers throws his fastball, I think all that does is effect how much he changes speed in terms of keeping a hitter off balance going from a fastball, change-up etc.....

Also you think the guys that actually throw @95-99 we should leave those alone and change everyone else. I was playing against the Giants and Brett freakin Tomko was throwing 97. Once I get this straight this game should be alot better.
Obviously some players will have fastball Speed ratings in the 95 range. But most players need their fastball Speed rating lowered into the 80's, otherwise they will continue throwing 97 MPH fastballs, even with the sliders lowered. The Change Pitch Speed sliders don't affect the top speed a pitcher is capable of throwing at.

i guess if a person were to drop each pitch by the same % then it would work out even, maybe 10 %, i'm not sure though because i think some pitchers are just rated to high for there fastball speed, some pichers might have to be dropped more than others to reflect there real life pitch speeds and that might be very time consuming, for instance matt morris throws 100 well i'd have to drop him more than say jason schmidt if he also throws 100, i'm not sure but don't think morris throws as hard as schmidt.
