That is seriously the dumbest, most unrealistic goal ever.

My god, 800 dingers? In 3 seasons? Who do they think you have, the 39 Yankees?

i agree, 100 wins is ridiculous.

I am with the red sox, and my owner also wants 100 wins (a little more understandable than the brewers). but im still tweaking my sliders to make it very challenging for me to beat most teams...meaning im working it so i shouldnt make 100 wins.

then another goal is to dump clement cause hes making too much money. wah? we just signed him, can I take him out for a test drive first? because I like keeping the team accurate with real life and never trade for anything other than prospects/draftpicks (fictional players)...i will not be dumping clement at all. hope the owner understands after the season and does not fire me!

That's true. I guess the owner isn't interested on making this a 5 year project, he wants results now! lol
It's too bad the GM mode is only 30 years, I was just getting into a completely fictional league after the 15 years it took for all the real guys to get flushed through and the mode is almost over. Right when I started to enjoy it the most.

What sucks about this too is that no matter what Clement does for you the owner will be upset. In the real world if you decide to keep Clement and he helps you win a title, earning all kinds of MVP awards in the prcoess, no owner in the world would complain. Here in videogame land he will still be like "Dammit I told you to get rid of that Superstar who just won us the series. You're fired!" It's kind of like Mr. Burns telling Mattingly to cut his sideburns.

There are no 3 year stretch goals. Its 3 year team goals and 1 year stretch goals.

Also, after 15 simmed seasons, the most I have seen my Red Sox be asked of is 600.

                    nice try though.

Sorry for not differentiating between stretch and team goals, as I really dont even understand what they mean. It was a three year goal, the one on the bottom half of the page.

Are you also trying to say that I was kidding about the 800 HR deal? What would be my motivation in doing that?
I creating Ryan Langarhans and put him in the braves roster, but not only my entire braves roster changed but other teams roster changed too. Why is that. Now if the braves or other teams trade or sign players, there will be no point for chsnging it. If u don't have online like me, u be sad too.

Ever, ever, ever. That goal shouldnt even be in the game, as its unrealistic even as a goal for the Yankees.
well, i know that the present day brewers wouldn't be given such a goal, but to say never? 3 times in the late 70's and early 80's, the brewers had 90+ wins, including 95 in 1982, so i'm not really sure if you can say "Never ever in a million years"

Oh and by the way, the Yankees are expected to win 100 games, so that definitely is a goal of the current Yankees.

I don't really like the "get rid of this player" type goal. It's odd because it just seems arbitrarily assigned to anyone with a large salary. The thing about winning 100 games is that yes, it is meant for the year you join the club, but it's not something that goes away after one year if you don't accomplish it. Manage to keep your job for 3 years without winning 100 (very easily done) and you use that time to build a team possible of getting those 100 wins.

Who knows, it's extremely flawed, but not that bad i guess. I just dont like the "get rid of player X" goal.
