0 degrees in Miami in August?
the glitches keep occuring. Not only do I have that stupid wild pitch garbage a couple of times a game, but the weather in franchise never changes. There is never any wind, never any clouds and the temp is always 0. That could be realistic if I were playing in Detroit or Cleveland in April. But in Miami in August? Hell, if any of you have ever been to Miami if it gets below 50 that is record cold. So, is there any way to fix the weather glitch or is it just another thing that is broken with this game? I really want to like this game but all the problems make it hard to do so.Last edited by Throatwobblermangrove; 03-10-2005, 05:34 PM.Tags: None -

Re: 0 degrees in Miami in August?
I personally haven't paid attention to the numbers of errors versus the number of wild pitches when the sliders are adjusted, but my own experience tells me that it is very likely that fixing the wild pitches with the error slider would indeed cause the number of errors per game to increase. Wonder why we don't hear anything about this?Comment

Originally posted by Throatwobblermangroveyeah, i have read the threads and sorry all that does is trade wild pitches for errors. Instead of 3 wild pitches a game there are now 3 errors a game. Plus evertime I check the expanded box score its the same thing. O degrees, and I am playing with the Marlins, this game is extremely annoying and unrealistic. RBI Baseball for the NES was more fun and less glitchy.
No it doesn't... in real life teams average just under one error per game .987%. If you set AI Error from 45-50 and Human Error to 25-30 that's what you will get on average. Sure you will get an occasional game with three errors, then you'll go through spats with no errors at all... that's baseball.
