So the the three month old Phillips drive on my XBox and my brand new PS2 that I bought last Saturday have weak drives and the only games that have ever frozen up on either of them are Kush games... they have weak drives and it has nothing to do with the game?

    Mmm-hmm.
I creating Ryan Langarhans and put him in the braves roster, but not only my entire braves roster changed but other teams roster changed too. Why is that. Now if the braves or other teams trade or sign players, there will be no point for chsnging it. If u don't have online like me, u be sad too.

Dude, we get it, you hate 2k5. I have never had a freeze and neither have the others who still are playing the game and posting here. I'm not saying it didn't happen to you or others, but it isn't happening with us. I don't know why you keep posting here.

I think they just put a little too much info in the game . And if you had a weaker drive it was more taxing on it. I have a 3 year old Phillips and it has never froze on me once in close to 100 games. I defiantely could hear the drive working a lot harder than normal with this game. And I got some chopiness at times. I turned off "custom soudtracks" and the game runs MUCH smoother. Others have done this too.

Also people have traded in their older xbox's and the freezing problems were eliminated with newer drives.

Dont know whats wrong in your case.

                      To answer the orginal questions:

                      1. Is pitching a challenge so that you don't hit your spots every time?

I use metered pitching and unless I am pitching with Pedro or Schilling(or whoever the ace is) - I miss spots ALL the time. I alot of times walk about 1 - 2 batters a game.

                      2. Will the CPU walk you? Will it have rough spurts when it just loses it for a few batters at a time?

Using sliders posted on this board - I am getting approximately 2 - 3 waks per game. The most I've received is 5 walks in a game(I've gotten that 3 times)

                      3. Do you feel like, in general, what you see in a game represents real baseball happenings?

                      I do.

                      4. Does the CPU bunt for basehits with the speedsters? Sacrifice?

Yes - although I have not seen this as often as I think I should.

                      5. Does the CPU steal appropriately and take bases aggressively?

Yes. On the default steal slider settings - the CPU has stolen THIRD base on me 3 times.

PS - My Xbox is 6 months old. I have played over 40 games of 2K5. I have yet to experience the game freezing.

here are you answers from my playing over 65 games in my franchise
                          1. yes it is a challenge if you use the pitching variability slider

                          2. yes they will walk you, if you use the appropriate sliders

                          3. yes

                          4. i have not seen this yet

                          5. OH YES if you have the sliders set right

as far as the bugs/glitches the only one that i have seen in my franchise is the 0 degree weather, and some commentary messups. the only time my closer didnt get credit for a save is when i made the switch when i was batting. when i made the switch when i was in the field my closer always got the credit 03-16-2005 01:22 PM
