Haven't even played franchise mode - too busy working on continual roster edits. Will be posting another roster soon - should provide a pretty solid wrap-up to the season. I've added Jose Dariel Abreu in the FA list for the next update - the FA 1B from Cuba - he's 26 and expected to be a top coveted player. Would be a nice addition for your franchise modes.

As far as next year: I really don't know. We are running out of players to edit as we've really done so much with this file I just don't know if it's possible. The REDitor is simply out of the question - this file would become a mess if we used it now. I've done all this manually... But if we can't, I feel really proud of what we all accomplished with 12, keeping this game alive.

I'll keep you guys posted on the next roster update / file...

MK thanks for everything you have done for this game. As a high school baseball coach, and my team being the in the playoffs, my love for the game lasts year round. I know every time I see the Larry Legend avatar we are in for something good with rosters and sliders. Now I hope you get to enjoy them more.

Played a franchise game yesterday. Sick sick game. Up 4-2 in the 9th. I try to let Buchholz finish his dynamite start.

2-1 count, tried to drop a curve in and hung the hell out of it, over the Monster......4-3. Give him one more hitter, double in the gap. Turn the game over to Bailey.

Bailey has to deal with 3,4,5 now with tying run on 2nd.

• Strike out!
• Groundball ball in the 34 hole and Pedroia makes an amazing diving play in the outfield grass, throws from his knees and gets the runner by half a step. Runner advances to 3rd on the play.
• Walk, just missed a 3-2 pitch, the ump hosed me, it had been there all game!
• Deep fly ball to the triangle and Victorino chased it down to catch on the run to close the game.

May not be pretty but it plays a damn good game of baseball! MK thanks for all the efforts. Everyone else that contributed as well. Great product here

Nope... That's the final roster. I will provide an offline link here soon. Just have a lot going on and very minimal time. I've traded in most of my games as it's come time for me to move on. This will be my final baseball roster as it's unlikely a new game is made. I won't be buying a new system as my wife is still out of work and we are living on the bear minimum.

My thanks to everyone who participated in this project. The 10/1 file had a LOT of work put into it. I feel pretty good about it. There was some stuff I was going to do with it, but just never got it done (was minimal at best).

Again, I'll post an offline link here soon. Thanks.

Thanks, guys... Your kind words mean a lot. So many people got this project rolling - Bretsky was instrumental in this, getting it off the ground. I always hate to name names because I know I'll forget someone accidentally. But we had some REDitor work done and also the schedule fix, along with moving the Astros to the AL. I really enjoyed the work on the CAP additions, along with various ratings edits. We don't have a perfect system here, and this game doesn't have near the following as our "The Show" brethren.

But we did a great job this year...

One final thought: I did want to pass along some good news. It took 2 months, but my wife has found a GREAT job. She's a graphic designer who was let go by the Tampa Tribune, who is dying a slow death. She was hired by the competitor on the other side of the bay. She begins her new position with the St. Petersburg paper - Tampa Bay Times - on Monday. They had 5 openings (due to moving their artists to the main office - many refused the reassignment) - she got one of them. They are much more professionally run, and have greater stability as the highest selling newspaper in the greater Tampa area. Our family will get full health care benefits on day 1 of her hire. So I appreciate all the kind words and prayers. Thanks again!
