For the xbox, will the 2013 schedule be included on a 2k share roster file like the Astros division switch or will it need downloaded a different way? If so, is anyone able to walk through the process?

The xbox file is already loaded onto 2K Share - did so a few days ago. It's the 3rd most downloaded file and includes the 2013 schedule. Just download it like you would any other 2K Share roster file. You're good to go...

I created Morris - and until he PROVES he has power at the major league level, I think that's fair. The one thing I HATE about certain rosters I've found in the past is the tendency to OVERrate a player just because he did something in the minors. My prediction: Morris will struggle with power. His speed was put where it was because he hit SIX triples and FORTY doubles. But I'd suggest not bumping him until he proves it with the big boys. That's a LOT to put on his shoulders, and I want to see it first. Hope this makes sense.

I love these rosters, no reason to get 2k13! I do need a favor though. Can anyone let me know how to start a dynasty without the CPU changing their lineups and rotations? I was going to start a season and the Braves are sitting Heyward and Singleton went to the minors, it makes it very hard to play franchise mode. I selected the "edit CPU rosters" option but that doesn't give me the option to change lineups of non controlled teams. Controlling 30 teams might be painstaking with injuries...If I can fix that I'd be set.

Quick FYI... I have decided I am NOT doing 2K13 rosters this year. I love 2K12. Though 13 is a nice game, I am committed to the project we've begun here. I don't have the desire to start fresh for 13 as I've already sunk a TON of time into what we're working on (which was my file from last year). I appreciate the guys here and what we've done. I will continue to track all transactions and will plug them in once the file is up again for editing after DCNats is done...no rush on it. Thanks!

I am hooked on 2k12. Haven't played a game this much, since, sit down now, Baseball Stars (you youngin's may not even know what that is........the neighborhood league we had growing up resulted in many a black eye and in one case a Nintendo thrown into a pool, anyway).

Just played a franchise game. I know this should prob go into a Franchise thread, but screw that, it is not about the franchise, it is about how this roster has changed the game.

Damn Cano hit a 2 out 2 run homerun on a 3-1 fastball in the bottom of 8. I had the setup man in and my closer was ready...I didn't go to him.

Damn Cano also made a 2 out bases loaded diving play to save 2 runs for his damn yankees. He was player of game hands down.

I did drill Texeria, and then they drilled Salty. It was heated in my basement, if there was someone to brawl, I would have......instead I just crushed my beers.

This game is terrific. Can't wait to start my new franchise after this season with the newest roster and schedule.

Noticed today that some guy D Kelz (and some numbers) has also ripped off our rosters and posting them as his own. He is using an earlier build, as it doesn't have the new cyberfaces added or position changes made. Again, I know there's nothing we can do about this, but I hate when someone does this. Give credit at least to the team here...

I'd suggest voting the clown's files down... it's one way to express our voice.

YES. that is the shared file that the team is working on. Astros in AL West and the 2013 schedule in it as well. It is a "working file" so there is much more to be done, but that 2K Share file for MLB 2K12 is what everyone has.

Please note that I am NOT doing rosters for 2K13 - and that file on 2K Share is basically useless as it's a screwed up mess (that I didn't realize until I started looking at the pitching staffs - I only reviewed the rosters themselves as well as the batting lineups - foolishly thought if those two were correct then everything was good).

So this thread is about 2K12 and NOT 2K13 - that project for 13 is dead, and unless a team here decides to pick up that project I don't foresee OS having any impact on a 2K13 roster at all. I'm not as I'm enjoying 12 way too much, and the small things (Astros, jerseys or colors) - personally, I could care less about that.

i just picked 2k12 this morning to see the file and the work you guys did.

are real players salaries update also.

So the file is not complete you said, when will this file be done and ready for a franchise? I though it was already completed, my fault.

It's a TON of work... No, the file is not 100% franchise ready, but it's an amazing body of work. We are still working on things, and you'll have to get feedback from Bretsky523 regarding player attribute updates and DCNats regarding contracts and stances. My focus has been on transactions and creating new players (of which I will create more).

NOTE: I have purchased the 2013 Baseball America Prospects Handbook. I will review the file and add the key players. Please do NOT blast me with creating some single A player who's the #10 prospect for some team. This will focus on the top prospects in all of baseball, and I will only do this as my schedule allows once the file has been tossed back in my direction.

Just download the rosters and noticed castellanos from the tigers is at 3rd he moved to the outfield just a minor note.

2k share is still up, i'm not really sure how long they keep it up for "last years" game though.
