Does anyone know if 2k will shut down 2k share on MLB 2k12 after a certain date? I hope not. I was waiting for some opening day roster updates on this file to download to my 360 but not if 2k might shut down the 2k12 file sharing by then.

No one knows for sure. But usually they keep the 2kshare stuff available for a few months to a year after release of the new game.

But realistically, it isn't a big deal if you have a usb flash drive. You can just load the rosters that way. Not as convenient as 2kshare, but a very viable option.

FYI, this roster is as opening day now as opening day will be. Download it from 2kshare now, try it, try the slider sets that go with this roster, as it is edited with 25 anticipation attribute for all players.

It was Milwaukee (me) and Texas (CPU) in just some play now games.

Currently playing as Milwaukee against Texas in Milwaukee. I'm through five innings with multiple foul balls (1st base line, 1st base dugout, back behind home plate, 3rd base line, 3rd base dugout, etc.) from both teams and I have been unable to replicate the issue. One thing I do notice is that the scoreboard in center shows the player's career stats, not the stats from the previous year. For example, when Ryan Braun comes up, he has 161 HR's, etc. instead of 33. I'm not all that familiar with games in Miller Park, so is this something they do or is this some sort of glitch? Perhaps this could be an issue, but I don't know why it would crash on one PC and not on another . . . I will finish this game and have a look in the roster file at the Brewers players, the coding for their stats, and at Miller Park. I've played an exhibition game against Texas in Boston with no issues, so I don't think it is Texas.

Yes - a few posts ago you should have read that. Bretsky is working on the updated ratings. THIS is THE hardest & most time consuming part of this process. We will also have stances reviewed, pitching windups & there are many transactions to be input as well. We have a team that is working on this from all angles, and we'll need your patience in this. Our goal is to be 100% ready on Opening Day. The previous files have been released so people can enjoy this game, get excited for the 2013 season, realizing that it's a "working file" that is fluid with much more to be done. We've done an amazing job on this already, and we also have some more good stuff to come.

I know people won't like me saying this, but I'll say it anyway: take about 10-15 minutes of your time and READ THIS THREAD. Everything you need to know that is critical to our efforts here can be found within the last 20-25 pages here. Just read it and get excited for what is coming your way in a few weeks!

We are doing all the transactions and ratings by ourselves, I have no formula for ratings but I bring up scouting reports and stats on EVERY player, I guarantee these will be better then the crap 2K puts out

Yes, under MKharsh's gamertag. The roster is also available through an offline link provided by the fellas, so people have multiple ways of getting this excellent roster.

Basically quoting MK here.. but please read the threads guys! We all got a wonderful American edumacation, you will be so very pleased on what you find!

The most complete up-to-date file is posted on 2K Share by MKHarsh, in the description it says operation sports and all that mumbo jumbo. Just go to the most recent uploads and scroll down a bit, you can't miss it.

This file is also pretty much franchise ready if you choose to do so like me. Lineups and Rotations are set to projected opening day, so if a player is hurt he is stashed in AAA, just bring him up yourself if you'd like to use him.
Astros are also in the AL West, but it is still the 2012 schedule until we can try to make the 2013 one.
Contracts for 25 man rosters are basically correct for all teams as well.


More updates are to come, and by the end of spring training we can expect to have 100% accuracy come opening day. Maybe even a few WBC teams will be thrown in there for quick play.. stay tuned!
