^ I was reading on mlbtraderumors that the Mariners have come up with a list of 4 non premier minor league players that they will pick one off of, the list of players has not been released but if I had to make a guess, I'd go with somebody maybe like Pedro Beato who the Sox acquired in trading Shoppach to the Mets

I put an update on 2K Share to let people know that we're still working on things and the attribute ratings will be reflected in a future update. There are a few other files showing up, but nothing even close to what we're doing. I'm still tracking all transactions & signings and have a notebook that has a running log of each team's updates. I also found a great site that has the 40 man rosters along with non-roster invitees, and most jersey numbers updated. So once Bretsky passes along the file I'll work on those details.

Again, this file will reflect Opening Day rosters with 100% accurate / official team updates. Any injured players will be stashed on the AAA or AA roster. If you want to change those when that file is released you can do so at YOUR leisure for playing purposes. As I've done for the last 3 years, I will update all transactions throughout the season, as well as create any players that may come along that need added. Since we have a team working on this, we'll need people to also work on accessory edits and probably start the ratings update at least 3-4 weeks into the season (bearing in mind some guys will have hot or cold streaks that won't bear out all year long - I'm very patient when it comes to those changes as it happens each year).

Also, to clarify: the file I posted yesterday on 2K Share was NOT an update to the rosters - it was simply informational. I did NOT use the file I posted the other day which is the latest file we worked on - I believe it is the one with the THIRD most downloads on 2K Share. Bretsky has the current file... Thanks!

Keep in mind this is from the February 13th roster, I believe, so not completely up-to-date.

Finally got to try this roster set on my PC. It ran well until I hit a foul ball. Four consecutive attempts at the roster and each time that I hit a foul ball into the stands (NOT down the line or something) it would crash straight to the desktop.

Not sure if it's the settings or what. Shouldn't be the PC since it ran the 2k official rosters just fine. (although THOSE rosters would occasionally freeze the game.)

I'm not complaining, but rather wanted to let you know that there COULD be an issue. Or it could be completely random. I haven't read many PC users trying out the rosters so I'm just doing my due diligence as a "beta" tester, I guess.

I have played 9 spring training games in a franchise with this roster and and 4 or 5 exhibition games and have not seen an issue like this. Is this in a franchise or just an exhibition, and which teams did you play with? Perhaps there is an issue with a certain player or players on certain teams that I have not used. If you let me know which teams this happened with, I can give the roster file a check. I've played all my games as the Red Sox, and I've played against Texas, Cincinnati, Baltimore, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Washington and Minnesota I believe.

I know young/ Rollins are 84 lee/hamels are 88 Halliday is 87 revere is 82 young is 79 Adams is 83 paps is 86 or 87 and chooch is 83 or 84 and I think brown is an 77..... I know it is bad that I know these by heart.....

Does anyone know if 2k will shut down 2k share on MLB 2k12 after a certain date? I hope not. I was waiting for some opening day roster updates on this file to download to my 360 but not if 2k might shut down the 2k12 file sharing by then.
