This update has numerous position changes, updated 25 man rosters, lineups, rotations, contracts, and transactions through today.
This also includes the Astros in the AL West.
NOTE:
As TVMan has previously stated, you will only see the top 4 teams in the AL West, you will have to view power rankings or league standings to see the last place team.
The NL Central will have a blank team thats 0-0. If anyone has franchise issues please post it here!
The schedules will stay the same for now, meaning even though the Astros are in the AL West, they will have their 2012 NL Schedule, eventually we will update this.


The file will now be in Bretzkys hands!

Even though I am going along w/o the Astros in the Central, I must commend the work of the fine gentlemen who made this happen.

It is a dream come true for me being able to play a decent 2k baseball game on my 360 rather than my laptop.

MK I've got a request, one that i'd like to work on tonight if possible..

Could you comb through all the teams, and place all players that would normally be on the 25 man roster, if they weren't hurt, like Ted Lilly, A-Roid (see what I did there again?) Corey Hart, and others?

That way I can get all the contracts for major league players accurate. Skimming through alot of AAA teams, there seems to be a ton of players that you guys put down there because they are hurt.
TVMan, Bretzky and I can place these players on the DL for X number of days using redditor. That way they will be on the MLB team, but hurt.

Thoughts?

UPDATE
I did tinker with Ryan Madson since he has that shoulder stiffness issue. Im sure the other guys knew this, but we can edit each player with whether or not they are healthy, if they are on the 15 or 60 day DL, how much longer the injury will last, how many days left are on the DL, what date they sustained the injury, and what injury type. Nice big list. Some players like Corey Hart for example are expected to miss at least 4 months, so we could expect his injury to end in June from the date he got the surgery.
This seriously gets more exciting by the day. Theres literally no chance of me buying 2k13 at this point.

Regarding the lineups and injuries...

A number of guys enjoy using these rosters by playing with them and using the MLB Today games. For me, that's been my greatest enjoyment of this game. I use this site: http://www.baseballpress.com/lineup.php - so I can play the actual lineups from that day's games with 100% accurate rosters (and changing the lineups to reflect the actual game).

I believe the major contracts can still be updated even if those guys are at AAA or AA because of injuries or because they're not projected to make the team.

This is just my personal preference - I've never created an MLB roster with "ideal" lineups as I like to have to make tough decisions on how to manage my roster. But that's just me... You guys can proceed on this how you would like, but I will continue to just edit the file based upon the reality of injuries and suspensions. However, I'm willing to go with the consensus. If it's decided otherwise, then I'll remove myself from this process because of the great deal of time I've put into fixing lineups and pitching staffs on a daily basis.

hey guys amazing job with these! just tested out a full season with the astros in the AL, everything worked great the astros had the dh and worked fine they participated in the draft and all offseason activities fine no freezing or crashing or anything i love it great job

im gonna scrap my rosters even though i had full minor league players with no fakes and let u guys blow it out of the water with this amazing job! i can do what i need to with the minors when u guys are finished thankx guys!

I know, right! I had a roster project planned for the PC, but why bother when someone else is doing it. Think about how much value there is in someone else doing a roster project for you?

Once you embark on a project of your own it only takes a couple hours before it makes sense to buy MLB 2k13.

I think I may agree with you on this. Alot of people do like to play the MLB Today, or just pick it up and play a game.

Some people, like me love to do franchise and be as accurate as possible. Lets just continue what we are doing, transactions, contracts, projected lineups things like that, then if someone, like me (lame, I know) wants to do something as accurate as DL moves and stuff, I can do that on my own time here at home.

Some but not enough. Things like socks, hats are only changeable with the PC version.
