Awesome stuff, tvman! since you've got the file, do us a favor and put Brandon Inge on the Pirates AAA team. If he doesn't fit, just drop an AAA guy (one of the worst players - preferably a 2 star / fake player) down to AA. If that doesn't work, first drop an AA guy down to A and then drop a player down another level until Inge fits. I'll work on depth charts later. But since you've got the file, this was the next signing that dropped last night. I'll still track the others. Thanks!

I have the file? I didn't know that. Is that the one I fixed Freiman on or did someone do more to it after that?

Is the latest file the one on the 1st page of this thread?

Well, then just disregard that statement. Obviously you don't. It's hard to sift through your comments on what you're fixing... We're not sure if you're just learning the reditor or actually working on this file. Sorry, but I'm just stating what I see here. So forget that comment of Inge because it's obvious you're not using the latest file that was just posted here.

All I want to see, as someone who has invested a good deal of my life into this, along with Bretsky and DCNats (and you as well), is for good communication and clear passing along of the CORRECT file.

I interpreted your comments as having that file and stating Francona had been added.

But I'd suggest this: just let the file sit until FRIDAY until Bretsky gets it back. I don't like confusion... And if anyone thinks I'm being a prick: I somewhat have the right to be a bit possessive about this file because it's HUNDREDS of hours of work that began with last season's file that Bretsky used to start this season's.

But my apologies for any confusion... I misread what you were doing, so no harm done. We'll just let Bretsky pick this up in a couple days... Thanks!

To clarify: the MOST CURRENT file is on page 47 - post #467. It is the .rar file that tvman uploaded, following the latest issues (id. Freiman / Astros / Marlins fix).

NOTE: I have the afternoon free today (until around 5 PM). I will now work on updating depth charts & pitching rotations, using www.mlbdepthcharts.com as a guide for projected 25 man rosters - all based on latest projections, signings and latest injury news (that I follow very closely).

I will post a new file today when I'm done... Thanks!

Hey MK, you might of mentioned it before, but you don't use redditor do you?
When your done, i'll quickly go fix Stanton, as well as place Micah Owings on the Nationals and convert him to a first baseman. Brets hitting stats for him are perfect.
If you didnt notice, I did change a few position players, I.E J upton will play left so I made him a left fielder, as with Bryce Harper.

Or I can wait like you asked, your call!

This would be perfect (as, no, I don't have or know how to use the Reditor). Let me work on the lineups a bit more - I have about 10 done right now - going over EVERY team.

I just checked and Justin Upton is still a RF - so he needs updated (maybe just an oversight). But Harper is correct and his new player model looks good. Stanton's first name still needs updated and good to hear on Micah Owings (he's already on their AAA roster) - his batting ratings look good, but the switch from pitcher would be a nice addition.

Really appreciate this - I'll post the offline .ROS file here when I'm done in a bit! Thanks!

- could you use the Reditor to change Manny Machado (Orioles) to a 3B instead of a SS?

- and change Billy Hamilton (Reds - AAA) from a SS to a CF?

TVman have you considered maybe doing the schedules in manually ? Yes it would take FOREVER, but, worth it i think.

Some guys have tried doing the schedule with reditor over at mvpmods and said it didn't work but vlad is supposedly working on some fix but that's all I know.

MK I said in a previous post (you must have missed it) that I have been trying out things with this editor and just reporting what can or possibly can't be done. I did add Inge to the Pirates AAA and added Francona to the file that Bretsky posted on page 1 called FEB12 but I won't upload anything.

If DC is working on things and wants to know how to add Francona just PM me.

We'll leave it at that.

TVman - appreciate your reply. Understand that if you cannot upload a file, it's nice for you but we can't use it. So I'm not trying to be difficult, just trying to coordinate the parade here. Someone has to take the lead in an endeavor like this, so I just decided to head this project up.

If you could please let DCNats know the process of fixing Francona to the Indians we'd all be grateful for that.

DCNATS... Here is the list of items you can fix with the Reditor - I will be uploading the file shortly:

- change Manny Machado (Orioles) to a 3B instead of a SS.
- change Billy Hamilton (Reds - AAA) from a SS to a CF
- fix Giancarlo Stanton's first name (MIA)
- change Michael Saunders (SEA) to the position of LF
- change Micah Owings (WAS - AAA) position from pitcher to 1B
- fix Jordan Walden's (LAA) player model - he should be white with a beard, not a black player model
- fix the correct player model for Chad Tracy (WAS)
- change Justin Upton (ATL) position to LF
- what do you think of changing Ben Revere (PHI) to a CF??

These are the notables that I can think of. Thanks!
