You got to be really careful with these cyberfaces. I am finding out the hard way some of the faces that are labeled in page three on the thread are waaaaay off and in some cases not even the color.

Well, maybe we could just let this lay low for a couple days and just spend some time enjoying playing it. After all, the big free agent domino dropped yesterday with Bourn. Last I read today, Lohse isn't close yet. Most other signings are just 24 or 25 men on the depth chart or AAA NRI guys. So we can just play a few games until Bretsky takes the file on Friday and I'll continue to track free agent signings. But that's just my suggestion and am open to anyone else's thoughts. My concern is communication and making sure the proper file is being worked on. The last file TVman provided in post #467 is the latest file!

I have also the re editor adn am pretty efficient with this. I ahve tons of time so I can pitch in and pass it off to you on friday?

If someone tackles changing some of the cybers i'd check after doing each one that everything is still kosher with the file.

I posted that link to MVpmods about some of the cybers they swapped out with players who had generic ones. Some aren't very good but they are mostly better than the generic ones a lot of players have. One in particular I remember that looked good, for example, was changing Hector Sanchez of the Giants to Nelson Cruz's face. Just remember that you only want to change the appearance id not the global as that controls the portraits.

Sorry for all the typos my man...I meant I have the re editor tool and as well as some time so I can do some cyberfaces.


****A quick note that you guys really need to pay attention to in regards to cyberfaces. APPARANTLY, AppID numbers change for every roster base you dowload. For instance, say I edit the october 2k roster and begin editing, well the faces ID is not the same as say the april roster release. Its like the AppID change. So depending on which roster MVPmods pulled all their sweet little AppID's from they may or may not work. This includes all the faces from page three that TVman did. Also, old faces like say trpy glaus and others dont seem to work. I have a pretty good running list of heads I pulled from this groups roster and have began plugging them in and they work great but this is something I thought yall should know.****

I had trouble with Bryce Harper's cyber because I changed his global and app id's but on the wrong Harper. For some reason in this roster there are three Bryce Harper's, one with the Nats and two that aren't assigned to any team. Not sure why or how they are there. Once I realized this he was easy to add.

Yea his I am glad worked as I knew 2k literally disappears post release so his face was more or less always in the system. But do the other faces as well as the one from page five I think in the re editor thread which had the faces supposedly hidden in the game.

Don't forget those cyber id's on page 5 of the reditor thread are actual cyberface id's NOT appearance id's.

For instance if you search under the appearance's tab for 1277/ CF_ID it will show up as ID # 1160. If you then search under player tab for 1160/AppID you'll find no match because that cyber belongs to Randy Winn!

I was able to get Terry Francona in as the Indians manager good cyberface and all.

Grabbed him from a 2k11 roster to 2k12 with all his personal info.
