Been following the thread for a while, made this the past couple of weeks since all the updates were taking a while. Won't let me post an actual link with under 5 posts.

Based off Moth's v1. Medium re-edits based on 2013 performance. If players are in the game, they should be in the right org. If they're on the 25-man as of this morning they should be on right team/exist. Updated lineups/pitching rotations. Added pictures and stats for guys who didn't have them where available (Tejada, Manny, Kazmir, etc.). Fixed numbers, country of origin issue, and did fielding anticipation/block plate global edits to 25/99. On 2kshare as DS Moth Update 722.Comment

Thank you for posting this along with the updated budget version.
2kshare discounts each contract by 25% so a global edit was able to counter all that in one giant swoop. I did some testing and it also updated the budgets in Franchise mode to the new totals.
The Dodgers are over 300 million haha.Comment

Which sliders are you using? With the anticipation reduced to 25, I assume some sliders like speed would have to be raised.Comment

Ok, that's what I was actually asking about but didn't clarify well, the OF/IF run speed and throw speed in conjunction with 25 anticipation. I'll try it and see how it goes.
So let me ask this, and I'm not complaining because this is the first good roster I've seen: were just certain players updated? Off the top of my head, the nationals pitchers ratings look the same as the 2k update, what's his name Donaldson on the A's is batting over .300 but still has 2k's contact 60's and 70's ratings, the nationals average batters have the same ratings as the 2k update, etc.
Also I'm a little confused because there's like 5 guys posting what they did and I don't know if this is a collaboration on a single file, or if there's multiple files, or what. I know there was one mistro posted that only had hitters updated but not pitchers, I don't know which rosters have the 25 anticipation global change...Comment

I had a separate file branching off from Moth's base file. We had a philosophical difference in how to rate players so that resulted in a new file.
Yesterday, I scrapped mine in lieu of Dark Sheeps reditor file changes as it was able to incorporate the updated contracts (times 1.25 as 2k discounts MLB contracts by 25% for some reason). This then made the team budgets 100% accurate for Franchise, which is important to me. So I personally will be using his file and making my own updates to ratings, which should be minor, given that DarkSheep made a lot of his own updates from Moth's original file.
Both files contain basically the same players. All on 25 to 40 man rosters for the most part, outside of a couple missing I believe on Darksheeps such as:
Donnie Joseph
Michael Tonkin
Vidal Nuno
Ryan Brasier
Nick Tepesch
Neftali Soto
Ronald Guzman
Stetson Allie
Keon Barnum
Max Muncy
The above players, and potentially a few more catcher and 1b prospects, are not on DarkSheeps. So if you are going with his roster, from 2kshare, I would consider adding in those players. Honestly, you can go without them and be perfectly fine, but I like having full rosters.
If you like Moth's ratings, then I would go with his roster. If you like contracts and ratings geared closer to 2013, then I would go with Darksheeps.Comment

Honestly the one with just the batters updated I liked the best, and felt the ratings were closest to real life. I ended up not using it because 1. It didn't have pitchers updated and 2. The rosters were accurate only to the beginning of the season.
I see a lot of ratings that are off in the darksheep one, but the rosters are accurate so I'm using that for now.
A roster with ALL ratings updated in line with the one with just the batters, 1.25 contracts, and correct rosters would be the best of all worlds.
