There is a free version of REDitor available. You just can't do as much editing with the free version as the paid version.

Nice job with the red sox - Adding in Devers, Margot, and Rijo. Very impressive.

Only problem I see is that every player has 99 acceleration. Can you fix that up?

No, you do NOT want to change that. Leave them at 99. After much testing from 2K12 (which carried over to 2K13) we had a number of guys who play this game to death make a HUGE finding!! Putting acceleration at 99 for all position players makes the animations play smooth. You will see the players make movements that they were meant to make. You will see fielding animations at 99 that you would never see otherwise. The universal 99 acceleration has NO bearing on overall ratings, nor does it impact anything else about the way they play.

We found in 2K12 that doing this and having all catchers have a 99 block-plate rating was a big time discovery. There is one more thing we did where each player was set at 25 - I can't remember which attribute it was, but it also makes the game play beautifully.

One suggestion - lower pitcher run speeds WAY DOWN. We've found that the pitchers run too fast. I have most of them set around the low-40s. And I would also suggest NOT having the pitcher's acceleration rating at 99.

Know that we've found these things on 2-3 years of playing this game, trying to find ways to smooth out animations and player movements/physics.

Is it possible to get a link that has all the players with all there attributes? I can't figure out how to get the rosters from my pc to the xbox, so id like to see the rosters so I can put them in personally.

Also, one word of caution: in the 2K12 file, the more the REDitor was used, the more it began to screw things up later. It COULD have been that the file was being tossed around by a couple/three/four guys - and some stuff got messed up. So just make sure you keep an eye on player names because of this.

In the 2K12 file I'm developing, the base file has been used for 3 years. I just kept on adding stuff and fixing things. The longer you use a file, I've wondered if there's only so much memory related stuff the game can handle. Just some helpful advice to give caution to.

I was not aware of that. Thank you for this information.

I was aware of blocking the plate one. I think 25 was defensive reaction time, or whatever the slider for that one is called. Anyways, thanks again.

Typing that information out would take forever. You creating players and making these changes manually would also take forever.

My advice: look up some tutorials on this - both typed out searches and youtube videos. Trust me (from someone who had no idea about how to do this stuff): it's well worth your time to figure this out.

You need a usb stick that you can format to your 360. You need a couple/three basic programs. It will take less than 5 minutes of your time once you get the hang of it. You're simply moving the file from your pc, using a conversion program (modio or horizon) to get the numbers from one of your files rehashed/resigned to the new file. You then move it onto your usb stick using a program that allows you to open the usb stick - it's then drop and drag.

PC to XBOX is the same problem I am having. I believe you need REDitor to do it and even then I have not been successful as I get an access violation error.

I re-read his comment and I'm trying to interpret what he means...

Either 1) how to CONVERT the file from an xbox format to a pc format. OR 2) how to MOVE the file from his pc onto his 360.

I don't know how the files can be converted. We had someone here a year ago who was a HUGE help to do this. Unfortunately, there's only a handful of us guys here who are still dedicated to 2K baseball. But it's too bad because, though I can't recall which OS member it was, he was a huge asset to this community.

I tried downloading REDItor II but I can only find it for 2K12. Is it still compatible with 13? If not, can someone provide me a link to where I can download it?

Also, I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but anyone with the first names of either Edwin or Christian have been changed to Carlos. Edwin Encarnacion and Edwin Jackson are both Carlos now. How can I fix this? Does it have to do with some kind of security setting on my Xbox or is it just a game glitch?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Did you use create a player? If you did it will cause the names of some players to be corrupted.

I downloaded your last roster update. I couldn't find Carlos Correa so I created him. Later, I found the one you downloaded. So, if I delete him, will it switch things back?

Also, you didn't answer the REDitor question

So I have downloaded Horizon and the MLB 2K14 rosters from this thread but I have no clue what to do from there. The instructions on page one aren't clear enough for me sorry but I was wondering if anyone has Facebook so we could chat and do this step by step. I'm really confused
