Re: MLB 2K13 (360) - 2016 Rosters
Oh well, a few contracts will be over that. No biggie.
Didn't think until after I started changing some contracts. . .how much effect will it have on team budgets? Hopefully not too much of a negative. 30 team control is necessary usually anyway.
Thanks for the info.
Found a great site for prospects. I'm sure others have used it before. 2080 baseball. Good writeups and some video too.Comment

Re: MLB 2K13 (360) - 2016 Rosters
Personally, I think it would be great. I was messing around with that and just subtracted 4 years from every players birth year. Should be close, however, if some players were created with this thinking in previous years it will be off by a year or two for those created guys obviously.
I think age, contracts and abilities are key.Comment

How much ratings adjustments were being made as prospects were added?
Toughest part now is the plethora of free agents. Have to move guys around in the organization just to move one guy from one team to the next.

I got REDitor to work, but I can only use the free version for now. I'll start working on the NL Central right away.Comment

I'm using free version right now as well. I contacted Vlad and he emailed back with a link to order but I could access it. I'm lost on what to do. Tried multiple things. Let me know if you figure out a way to order.Last edited by GMAB8; 12-17-2016, 05:21 PM.Comment

I would think that the defensive swing would mostly produce weak type pop ups and grounders if they weren't foul balls mostly.
What kind of sliders is everyone using? Strictly allstar or legend or does everyone use a variation of some slider makers posted here.
I've been playing with shogun's my last few games. I need to get better at pitching because I usually have one or two innings that absolutely kill me. Like 6-10 runs worth.
It gets very difficult when after you give up one hit with a particular pitcher that it turns red and becomes ineffective.
Any suggestions?

One thing on ratings I'd suggest - having done a TON of them: forget the "overall" rating and rate a player more on his splits (batting and pitching). In order to make a player's overall numbers climb, sometimes you had to do some things to them that just didn't fit their style of play. And it often happened because of some complaint - many of which I was seeing on the 2K forums (until I never went back there). Thanks for all you guys do... Life just isn't going to allow me to stay involved in this as the new ministry I'm serving with has 400-450 people attending regularly (a climb from the 260 when I got here 6 months ago). My life is just chaos with little free time. So I appreciate the guys who are giving this their time and energy - and who continue to provide this for free. Thanks so much! Hope all of you have a Merry Christmas! MikeSTEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Great point on the ratings. Splits and ratings based on actual statistical data are far more realistic than appeasing a gamer and getting certain players "overall" higher than another's is critical.
Working on Madden ratings in the past is a similar aspect and a project similar to the FBG ratings for madden would be awesome to implement to MLB 2K13.
Obviously that would be a huge endeavor. However the time and work you all have put into this roster to this point is absolutely amazing. It is very appreciated.Comment
