You guys are doing a great job. Sounds like this could be the best file yet. I just don't have time, guys. I began a new ministry (I'm 44 - minister of a church) in Missouri following the death of our son last December. When I came it was around 270 people in attendance. In 7 months we are now pushing 400 - and my life is just swamped with responsibilities. Our oldest son is playing JV basketball and is a nice role player. So the time I have for myself is very limited, and my days are very long. I LOVE what I do here - just don't have that kind of time to invest into this. But you guys are very capable and are doing a great job, and that's really cool to see. We are doing much better - it still hurts, but time, great people, prayers, God's strength, and just an acceptance of the reality of the situation - knowing it can't be changed - does help. The community we live in is a little under 2,000 people - but it's home, a perfect match for all sides. I do miss the better weather of Florida, but the tradeoffs here are well worth it. Hope all of you guys had a nice Christmas and that 2017 is good to you! (I know this isn't baseball stuff - but we are people, and a lot of you guys reached out with concern - so just wanted you to know that we are doing better and that we are grateful to all of you who cared).

I should touch base more often but MK I am happy to hear your family is well and are so positively spreading your faith in your son's name. For that I am glad and even thought only through message boards, happy to call you a friend. Please keep your faith and your son's legacy spoken of and please keep us posted on here.

On MLB 2k news. I never play MLB 2k13 anymore and it pains me. I love the game but I rarely turn on my 360 anymore. I am seeing time after time of backwards compatible games and each time I hope that MLB 2k13 is there. It won't be but I'll tell you, I would play all the time.

That being said, this is still the single best community updated game I have been a part of. I am all in on helping and keeping this baby going.

One of the most underrated games of all time and the community that drives it is amazing. Keep up the good work. MK thoughts are with you as always. Very excited about this upcoming season. Great work by all!

Mkharsh33 I am really glad to hear you and family are doing better. And going through the roster recently I have to say you did an amazing job. To tell the truth trying to update some of players has been difficult because I didn't want to mess up the work you've done.

On different note I wanted to apologize to everyone for the delay, I ran into a problem with the roster file so I had to use a backup roster save to continue updating the game. I just hope I can have this done sooner rather than later.

No problems. . .it is only January! Many more moves will happen in the next couple months.

I personally think we shouldn't put the updated rosters out until opening day. A lot of transactions happen in the last few days of spring training so update to what it is now, and as transactions happen it will be easy to take guys off teams and add them in.

I respectfully disagree. That is true regarding transactions. However those aren't major ones. I think the goal should be to release two files before the opening day one. The wait would be too long in my opinion.

I agree with you Derk. If we can get together and put out a good one or two solid files during spring training, much of the work is done. Minor moves after that point would be much easier too.

Easier said than done also. I haven't had any time lately to even think about contacting these guys about giving a helping hand. However, the time is near to try and get some file work done.

Obviously, there are some adjustments that will need to be done to ratings as the spring and season go along. But this early work is the brunt of it I am assuming.

Doing these files is a lot of work. My thought is only 4 files are a necessity really. Opening Day Trade Deadline September Call Ups and a Playoff roster.

Curious if you guys are doing your moves and edits in game or are you using Reditor? Great work. Let me know what I can do to help keep this moving. I went back to playing with attributes again the other day. There are still some animations that don't trigger as much as I'd like. But I think in reality the globals are finished where they are.

It seems we got a nice crew here helping JMC. Therefore, more updates could and should be pumped out. I hope at least one before spring training. Then several during the year then one playoff roster.

Do you guys play in franchise mode? If so, how do you update your roster when you're mid season?

Pretty sure that's not possible. Just an updated roster to begin a franchise with or play random games. Or you could play games following your favorite teams schedule. I'll probably begin a franchise when we get close to an opening day roster.
