Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
Hey guys,
I'm curious how the new roster will address the two-way playing Ohtani. I saw that he was created as a pitcher with good hitting ratings but how would he get into a lineup say if he lands in the AL and you want to use him as DH or an outfielder in the NL? Right now he would only be able to hit if he's a pitcher on an NL lineup.Comment

In the game however, you don't have the option to go non-DH while the other team is using the DH.
One workaround I have done already(because it is a foregone conclusion that he signs with my Mariners right?!) is set a starting lineup with a placeholder player in the DH slot. At the very start of the game, then substitute Ohtani in from the bench as DH. This works fine in a play now game, but would not work in franchise obviously with the restricted 25 man roster. I don't see a way to do it any other way unfortunately.
Maybe someone else has a better solution?

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
Okay, I downloaded roster file in OP, downloaded Horizon, watched video on how to do. Just clarifying process.
1. First i need to format usb stick through xbox 360.
2. Go to system management where you see all the files on hard drive? go to 2k13 and copy any roster file? or has to be certain one? copy to usb stick.
3. Now put usb stick in PC, Open that roster file in Horizon. Copy the 3 ID numbers needed. Now open 2017 roster file in horizon and post those same numbers.
4. Save - rehash? on USB?
5. Load 2k13 on xbox - load roster file from USB, good to go?Comment

Put usb in computer. Open horizon. In package manager, open the new roster file from this forum. Open your saved roster file from game. Copy the 3 numbers from your in game roster file and paste them into the roster file from this forum.
Save rehash resign. Save to usb.
Then load in game.

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
How about just creating a "clone" of Ohtani, using a hitter model. Then when he pitches you can use the created pitcher and when he doesn't pitch you can insert the created hitter into the lineup. That would work for play now, maybe not so much in franchise as you would be losing a roster spot.Comment

Number 2, just go into the mlb2k13 game and save a roster onto the usb.
Put usb in computer. Open horizon. In package manager, open the new roster file from this forum. Open your saved roster file from game. Copy the 3 numbers from your in game roster file and paste them into the roster file from this forum.
Save rehash resign. Save to usb.

You might have to check the roster and release those young prospects the Braves had to give up. I don't think that has been addressed in any roster update. I am thinking of putting out my range edited version up to date soon since DiPoto is making craziness in Seattle for my M's with the addition of Dee Gordon!

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
good luck with that!!! Although Miami is shipping guys out of your division, so that might help. Those 90's teams were amazing - I'm 45 so that was the peak of my baseball fandom. that 95 series with my indians - if John Hart (strangely enough his connection -and disconnection- to your braves) had simply pulled the trigger on Pedro Martinez, we probably would have won 4 or 5 world series rings. But he was so tied to his prospects - namely Wright and Tavarez - that he wouldn't budge. That pitching staff of the Braves then actually reminds of the Indians staff now. Anyways, good luck on this, have fun and glad to read you were able to get them downloaded.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
You should get something like MLB 2017.ROS - I extract to my desktop or specific folder, somewhere I know I can find it easily.
Then I open horizon, package manager, blue open tab, select the .ros file you just downloaded and extracted, copy the ID's from a working roster file from the 360 and paste them into the appropriate sections, save rehash, resign, save to device.
take out your device, plug into 360, load roster from usb.
I have been working on a roster file that is up to the current date but it is very rough. Basically making all of the roster moves as they happen but adding 1-star guys to many teams to ensure they all have proper amount of players. Most team rosters are not fully functional.
Hope this helps.

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
Question for those of you using REDitor. . .what is the method for matching a cyberface ID (CF_ID) to a specific player? How do you go through the process of finding the look of a certain player and locating the proper CF_ID for that look? It seems there are so many different options. I am wondering how you all sort through and find the best look?

It would be cool to get a solid, sortable file that you can select faces from and it shows the ID.
Currently, I only have it in Google docs and just an ID with about 100 faces.
