That was back when the bats were like bam bam bats, -5, 2 7/8 barrel. NOT FAIR!
Ahh yes, the reflex c-core days! Seems like you are from my time. . .or close anyway! Scary being that close to hitters with those bat.

I had a play in summer ball playing 3rd base, runners on 1st and 2nd and we knew the other team was bunting. Coach brought me in to about 40 ft. from the hitter on the 3rd baseline, brought our LF in to play 3rd base so we could get the force out. Well, the batter pulled the bunt back and ripped a shot at me! I made a hockey goalie type glove save and we got the force at 3rd.

Thinking back, that could have ended much worse!

    Good times.

HA! I am head varsity high school baseball coach now and when we practice our bunt defenses every year I tell the third baseman, if I call a crash defense and they don't square: "First, I apologize...........second, DUCK!"

17 years doing it and fingers crossed, never been wrong.

Do you know How much does the full version of reditor cost, and what payment methods does Vlad accept right now? I asked him maybe a year ago, but forgot what he wanted.

I think it was $20 through PayPal for the full guru plus the my friend interface. I just got mine a month ago. Email takes about 1-2 weeks for him to respond but he takes care of you well. I had a problem and he fixed easily. I will pm you his email.

Baseballpilot22 would you like me to add some of the brewers prospects you created to the file I'm working on with GMAB8.

Sure, I have a spreadsheet with all of them on it, if that’s easier.

                  Guys...

If it's ok, I'll be providing a new roster file here soon - give me a few days. I'm working from the latest roster provided here above (by Baseballpilot22) - and fixing the depth charts (using rosterresource . com) - and I've also created and added the rule 5 pick of the Giants - pitcher Julian Fernandez.

I am adding a lot of free agent NRI signings and fixing some jersey numbers.

So if it's cool I'll provide that file here. The one provided above was not working for me until I deleted the .1 (follow version 2) as the file was showing as corrupt. But it works and looks good. I'm just wanting to provide an updated offseason file with some projections - each MLB team will have 25 man rosters that rosterresource does a fantastic job with - and I'm using some other solid sites to finalize the signings that have been missed.

Let me know if its ok to share it once I get it together. Thanks!!

(yeah - I know I said I wouldn't, but you know how this works...)

Good stuff man, glad to see your work anytime!

PM Jmc, he had told me he was putting a roster out soon as well. He gave me a list of players that needed added for that roster.

I hope I'm not offending anyone by working on this. Sometimes I think my public comments get me in trouble...

I took the file - the last one provided here by Baseballpilot22 - and just started scanning it. There is much that is well done. And we all know how fluid the baseball offseason is. When I started digging in, I found numerous transactions not updated and most all of the depth charts needing work. I figure we're at a point in the offseason where some expected signings will happen - still some that are significant - which will make this game fun to play. I created two Rule 5 pics (Fernandez mentioned above, and Milbrath - for the Pirates, I think - both of them are pitchers that I found scouting reports on as well as video clips of their pitching motions - for accuracy). And I've combed through numerous NRI signings that I've added. While working on the file last night, around 4-5 signings came in (Austin Jackson to the SF Giants as one of them). This will take some time as I'd like to get each of the MLB teams with 25-man projections based upon rosterresource . com. One example of a key move not made was Wandy Peralta - for some reason he was on the Royals rosters, so he needed moved back to the Reds. I've fixed some jersey numbers that I can find. Again, this will take me some time to go through all the moves I can find, then update the depth charts / batting orders / pitching staffs - as well as some ratings edits I'm finding. I don't know if the team here will be able to use anything from my file or not - but that's ok. Just want to provide something here that I'm tinkering with in what little free time I have. Thanks, and again, if I've erred here, I'll just keep the file for my own use and let the other guys here provide something that will be better than I can provide. Thanks.

Your work here is so very important! You are not offending me, and I would venture a guess that nobody else is offended either.

The file I provided about a month ago was just a beginning file that tried to keep up with the releases and early signings. So on doing that much of the depth charts and lineups were messed with to keep the teams with enough players.

I am so glad you are going through the roster because there are so many things that can be updated. I think ratings will need to be looked at throughout because well, it's a new season and we have all of last year to look at. Newer prospects and 1st year MLBers, veterans that slipped, breakout or up and coming stars, pitchers that changed roles or added/subtracted pitches from their repertoire.

Tims of stuff to do! Please share the file. I have not had a chance to make any changes to my file lately so I would appreciate a newer one!

The hardest part about this project is getting everyone on the same page because we all can only work on it sparingly and in our own time. The beauty of it is, there is no deadline! This is already, from its inception, that you I believe mk, were the creator of, is an amazing piece of work to keep this game alive!

Keep up the fantastic work guys!
                        -Mark

Only 13 teams left. File has been fun to work with - much was needed as missing trades and signings needed updated and added. I've created around 4-5 new players. Numerous updates and edits. Tried to find some missing jersey numbers. Shooting for a new release THIS WEEKEND. Hopefully sooner, but no promises as I have a LOT going on in the next few days. Thanks for the kind words above. Just wanting to help...but I also realize that I'm not working on the "main file" and some may see that as wasting my time. It's ok - whatever the main team is doing here is great - I just wanted to provide something to hold us over, building on the good stuff here that was already worked on.

I just wanted to let everyone on here know that I think your time and dedication to this project is incredible.

I have been playing off of the original roster since the game came out and now I will have a chance, due to your hard work, to play with current rosters!

I hope that I can figure out how to transfer the latest file to my xbox 360 properly, is there a post that you can refer me to that would have an overview of what you need to do in order to transfer this data to my xbox?

                            Thanks in advance

Plug flash drive into xbox 360.

Save a roster file to the flash drive.

Download the roster file from this thread

Extract files to get a .ros file

                              Plug flash drive into Cpu

                              Open horizon on Cpu

Open the saved file from your 360 using the device explorer. Should be in games, mlb2k13, then whatever you named the roster file in the 360

                              Click Tools, then package manager

Open the downloaded and extracted .ros file from this thread

Highlight the profile ID numbers from the saved file and copy and paste them into the profile ID for the new downloaded roster file

Repeat copy and paste for device ID and console ID

                              Click save, rehash, and resign

Click save to flash drive on top right of that little window

                              Safely remove flash drive

                              Plug flash drive into 360

                              Load roster in menu

                              Enjoy!

New file will be released FRIDAY...

All teams are 100% accurate from rosterresource . com. I have created MANY new players, updated a number of signings, and TONS of ratings edits. Every missing Japanese pitcher or Rule 5 pick that needed created has been made (with accurate scouting reports). All depth charts and pitching staffs are completely updated. A number of NRI signings have also been added. The base file that I started with was well done and saved me a lot of time. I've put quite a few hours into this file and still want to do some more stuff. It will be fluid, but I'll be able to provide updates from THIS file (I even got in the Jose Reyes to NYM signing that happened just a few minutes ago). Really excited about this and we're getting closer to Opening Day 2018 - and I think we're actually well ahead of schedule! I'll post tomorrow when the file is up here! Thanks!
