on the default legends settings in the game, 84 games into my mets season i have hit 81 hrs and 160 rbis with Carlos Delgado while battin .425 in 306 ABs.

i used ur sliders in one game and they were better for my hitting bringing it back into a realistic perspective, however, with Victor Zambrano i threw a 1 hit complete game shutout against the Pirates, now i know the Pirates are miserable but i guess i will have to adjust hitting ratings for the cpu because i totally dominate it with my pitching techniques.

You can't evaluate sliders after playing only one game. These sliders do a great job (along with some others on this board as well--just depends what you like best)... Play at least 10 games and see what happens. I mean you played 84 games on default. One game can bring anything.

i began a franchise with the cardinals with all the legends sliders set, at the end of this three game series, i outscored philly 44-10. now i know the cards are stacked but i annihilated the phillies. these were my first games using the hit stick, tons of doubles in the gaps, edmonds has 5hrs, pujols has like 10rbis, etc etc etc.

the passed balls in my opinion are probably the most unreal aspect of this game and contribute to the tremendous dissapoint as to the polishing of the game. i like playing this game, dont get me wrong, but even in mvp baseball which i played until EA stopped selling them, i was able to dominate the mvp setting which is the highest, so i guess all these games require the manipulation of the sliders in order to give it a real baseball feel. i side with all the fans of the old mvp and high heat series of ball games, and i know that these statements im making arent new to anyone because this game has been out for months, but i feel that if enough people voice their displeasure with 2ksports that maybe they will put out an intensely competitive product next year.

i really appreciate your effort to create these sliders, great job, if u guys have any ideas on how i should tweak my sliders for more realistic results then i am open to any and all suggestions.

          thanks guys!

p.s. i feel a little better about these sliders...i lost 7-4 to the cubs, im glad i lost!

For those of you who have tried both the Pro and HOF sliders, which do you guys feel give you the most realistic play? I've not tried either, but I'd like to get your opinion on this. For instance, I play alot of NHL 2k6, and I feel that with the right sliders I get a better balanced game on All Star Difficulty and I feel that on the Pro Difficulty I have the advantage even with the sliders set to my preferences. Thanks.
